"My dear Terran," she interrupted, "I know Alyssra Volade tolerates you for her own reasons, but I'm no longer her apprentice. I have no interest in Terrans or Vorgan. Is that clear?"
"Crystal," I said, bowing again. Nila followed suit. Opal hissed at Alyssra as we walked away.
"She's quite welcoming, isn't she?" Nila remarked.
"Absolutely," I agreed.
Just then, Drevolan entered, accompanied by Ilyin, who was dressed in the black and silver colors of the House of the Dragon. I glanced at Nila; her face was unreadable. We made our way through the crowd to greet them. Ilyin and Nila locked eyes, and though I couldn't decipher their silent exchange, they eventually smiled. Nila spoke, "You look stunning in those colors."
"Thank you," Ilyin responded softly. I noticed a ring on her right little finger, adorned with a dragon and two red eyes.
I turned to Drevolan, "Is it official yet?"
