Naomi was amazed at the confidence of this man. She wanted to test her martial arts skills and throw him over her shoulder. But there was a familiar voice that rang out from behind them. Lillian had come rushing to Richard when she noticed that he was missing. While looking for him, she saw that he was talking to Naomi and she felt a sense of crisis and rushed over. She raised her tone saying "Sister, what are you doing here with Richard?" When Richard saw that it was Lillian he let go of Naomi's wrist. Naomi took a tissue paper from her bag and wiped the place where he had caught her and then threw the tissue in the dustbin.
Richard's eyes darkened when he saw this. Lillian noticed the change in Richard's eyes and she clenched her fist letting her nails dig in her palm. She hates Naomi for being better than her. She said "Naomi I understand that Richard was once your fiance but he doesn't like you. Richard and I love each other. Why can't you just move on and give us your blessings?"
Suddenly a cold voice rang out from behind them "What makes you think that Mr. Davidson is even worthy to be with Naomi?" They turned around and saw a young boy walking towards them with an imposing aura. He looked as if he had walked right out of a painting. He had long legs and a perfectly built body. He was taller than Richard and much more handsome than him. When Lillian saw him she was fascinated by his looks. Eric walked over to Naomi and stood next to her, he smiled and said to Naomi "Long time no see". When Naomi looked at him she realized that he was that same boy whom she had saved on her birthday.
Eric then turned his attention towards Richard and Lillian as if he was looking at trash. Then he said with his cold and aloof voice completely different then the tone he used while talking to Naomi "You guys said that Naomi is trying to pester him?? Let me tell you Mr. Richard Davidson, you are just not worthy of being with Naomi" you are just trash. Naomi would be lowering her standards by being with you. What makes you think that she is even interested in you?"
Richard flustered "You…" Lillian and Richard looked at Eric from top to bottom trying to know his identity. They noticed that he was wearing a custom made suit and his watch was a limited edition. Even the shoes were from luxury brands. They understood that he is a powerful person whom they can't mess with without knowing his identity.
Lillian figured that Eric was from a wealthy family and so she tried to get close to him by acting to be friendly with Naomi. She said "Hi, my name is Lillian im the younger sister of Naomi" then she tried to make Eric feel disgusted by Naomi by saying "Actually Naomi is the adoptive daughter of my parents. Since you are friends with her, you are my friend as well" Eric looked at Lillian with a smile on his face "Oh I know you" when Lillian heard this her face showed a slight blush and she started smiling even more. Just then Eric said "You are that slut who seduced your sister's fiance. I am sorry but I am not interested in loose women like you. Just looking at your face make me feel disgusted"
Lillian felt extremely humiliated. Her eyes instantly turned red and tears flowed down her eyes. She said in an aggrieved tone "No those are all just rumors. I don't know what my sister has been telling you about me, but I am definitely not like that" Then she said to Naomi "Sister, how can you do this to me??" Just when Naomi was about to answer Eric said "Looks like you really like to cry. I guess that's how you were able to get men to be at your beck and call so far. You are an even bigger slut than what has been shown in the video" Then Eric said to Richard "No wonder that Mr. Davidson loves a woman like you. After all, like father, like son. The skill of having mistresses runs in the family."
Richard became furious at his words and rushed up to punch Eric. Eric skillfully dodged his punch. Then he caught his right hand and dislocated it. He long since wanted to break his band for slapping Naomi. Richard cried out in pain while Eric simply put his hand in his pocket and walked off with Naomi and Gina. Lillian snapped out of her daze and helped Richard to the hospital to treat his hand. After Lillian and Richard left, Naomi looked at Eric and asked "How have you been? Have all your wounds healed?"
Eric looked at Naomi and said "Thank you for saving my life that day." Then he introduced himself "Hi my name is Eric. It's a pleasure to meet". Naomi thought for a while and then replied "Hi I am Naomi Smith and this is my friend Gina Brown. Thank you for helping us back there". Gina was a little curious about how her best friend knew such a handsome guy but she decided that she should ask later. The three walked to a nearby cafe to sit and talk as it would be inconvenient to talk while standing around and also because Naomi and Gina were already tired after walking around for such a long time.
