Several sci-fi weapons that was surrounding the man started bombarding Elena as the starting signal of the battle. Each projectile that came toward her were extremely powerful and had the power to kill her. Dying once would not be a problem as she found that these projectiles did not have the ability to stop resurrection but were strictly meant for penetration power.
But if Elena died even once, the resurrection would take some time. That would be a major gap and her opponent would be able to exploit it. So Elena was sure that if she died even once, the flow of the battle would completely go away from her hands and she would be in a lot of danger.
So the best thing that Elena could do in a situation like this was to block the projectiles and to destroy them. Just dodging was not enough as there was a high possibility that these projectiles would be able to change direction and came toward her again.
