On the stage built in front of the temporary temple, Duke Karl Moronto appeared while surrounded by his S rank subordinates. The Closing Ceremony had the purpose to reassure all the citizens that their prosperous days would be continuing in the future. So showcasing the strength of the city once again was very important.
The closing ceremony started with a speech by the Duke. What he said was standard stuff about doing his best to protect his citizens and about becoming even stronger in the future. The people did not really care about it that much, as Duke Karl Moronto had been ruling over them for quite some time and even without this ceremony, after so many years, the citizen already immensely trusted his ability as their ruler.
