Ancheng.
Song Jinze and Cheng Zheng had been busy all through the night.
The two had convened video conferences with key personnel from the Ancheng branch and overseas branches to dissect and analyze the issues in detail.
The meeting, which had started at 11 p.m., didn't wrap up until after 10 a.m. the next morning, nearly twelve hours later, leaving everyone exhausted to the point of collapse.
Exiting the conference room, Secretary Zhang draped a black coat over Song Jinze and handed him his mobile phone.
"President, the hotel has been arranged for you to have lunch and rest for a while. You have a flight back to Jiangcheng at 5 p.m. and a meeting with the company's senior management at 8 in the evening," Secretary Zhang reported.
With the president away from the company these past few days and new issues cropping up with the Ancheng project's coordination with overseas, naturally, a significant meeting at the company was required that evening.
