Suou could sense that something was not right the moment he arrived at the lake. Besides the thick smell of blood that would send any bloodsucker into a crazy frenzy, it was the dense mana that said it all. He climbed down from the carriage once his horse wouldn't continue forward.
Suou couldn't see much due to the trees and thick brush that surrounded the lake. There's no way he could get through that, he'd most likely bleed to death trying. That's when he noticed the opening where there were two medium sized boulders sitting across from one another. Before he could reach it, he heard something beyond the brush that sounded close to someone calling for help.
