Suou Utemaro - 40 years old, down on his luck with a massive debt left by his dead wife. One night while stumbling home drunk after being laid off from his company job he encounters a mysterious phenomenon. With no one else around a stranger approaches him asking if he wants to change his life. Of course he answered yes becasue he thought it was a curious bystander.
The stranger says he'll send him a gift without asking for his address and disappears in the night. What a strange encounter. Suou returns home and immediately heads to bed, he awakens to the doorbell.
When he answers noone is there but a package is left behind. It has no sender or address, Suou is curious and opens the package to find a letter and a rusted key.
