Cassandra's prediction of the future is out of control.
Sometimes she can see things a few minutes later, sometimes she sees the end of other people's lives, and she can't frequently predict the changing future for the same person in a short time after predicting before.
Clark wanted to predict his own future again and wanted to know whether his determination to prevent his younger brother from going astray had any effect and whether there was any possibility of changing the future could be realized.
"I'm tired, children."
Listening to the sound of the clock turning, Cassandra smiled with satisfaction. Clark was a little puzzled. He hadn't started reading with the respectable old lady in front of him.
"You don't really think Ms. Cassandra needs someone to study with her?"
David patted him on the shoulder, got up, and left.
This old woman can read Braille, and all she needs is someone to let her see the world in vivid colors through someone else's future.
"Ma'am, I'm sorry."
Clark reacted, looked at the clock on the wall, and left after feeling a bit troubled.
"I'll come see you in the afternoon."
"My child, I can only help you see some fragments of the future. Sometimes you don't know the whole picture, so don't judge casually."
Finally, Cassandra was kind to Clark who was about to close the door and leave. She was sitting down on a rocking chair and reminded.
"Facing family members, you need to be more patient and trustful."
"I understand, thank you, ma'am."
Clark was stunned for a moment, then looked thoughtful, nodded, and closed the door.
He would have liked to accompany David to a room downstairs, play chess with another old man, and spend community service time.
But after playing two games, the old man didn't want to play anymore, because he saw that David was giving the game to him, coaxing him to be happy, and after he seriously made him have a fair game, he quickly lost.
It is very boring to play chess with someone whose chess strength is too high, especially the weaker side.
"You guys go, I will tell the hospital that you played chess with me."
Feeling a sense of frustration, the old man stroked his forehead and waved his hand.
The two had no choice but to leave to check the time. It was almost time for lunch. Compared with eating in the cafeteria of the nursing home, the two wanted to go home and taste their mother Martha's best seafood chowder.
They went downstairs and saw Pete's car parked downstairs.
But they didn't see Pete, not knowing where he went, maybe he was still looking for the key.
"Are you going home like this, Clark?
What will father and mother think when they see it?"
Leaving the nursing home, with the lingering sadness on Clark's brows, David rolled his eyelids and said with a smile.
"What did you see me do in the future that made you so worried? Locked you in a coffin made of the meteorite? or snatched Lana you have a crush on?"
"No... it's nothing."
"..."
" You can't even fool a child with this sentence."
Facing Clark who was very bad at lying, David's tone was a little speechless.
"Let me think about it before I decide whether to tell you, David."
Unsure whether telling his brother what he saw would be good or bad, Clark decided to take a while to think about it.
He looked back at the nursing home.
The purpose of coming here today was to have time to get close to Lana, such as chatting in the cafeteria, but what happened now, he was not in the mood.
"Anyway, it's your future."
David spread his hands and didn't force him to ask.
Curiosity is curiosity, he will not worry about the future predicted by an ability user all day long.
The future is at his feet and in his hands, and he is the master of his life.
Where the boat of life sails is up to you to decide.
There are not a few people in this world who have the ability to predict and divine. If a person says something casually, and he starts to worry about his gains and losses, he will have no other time to do other things in the future.
'Compared with that, I am more concerned about another point now.'
Walking on the road, regardless of Clark who was distracted, David shook his hands, feeling something.
Ever since the fusion of the template passed ninety percent, he felt powerful energy flowing in his body, filling every cell in his body. The higher the degree of fusion, the greater the energy.
'But it can't be released no matter what.'
This made him think of Thanos in the comics.
'Comic Thanos can emit powerful cosmic energy from his hands or eyes, but he couldn't do it at first.'
'Not long after Thanos left his planet Titan and embarked on the road of the dark overlord, killing the leader of the space pirates and replacing him. He then continued to lead the space pirates under his command to plunder the science and technology of the universe and study his own body.'
'In order to fully tap the potential of his body, he made a suit of armor for himself, and performed biological transformation surgery on himself, so that he could release the powerful energy contained in his body.'
'In the comics, Thanos's golden armor looks simple, like it was hammered, but it actually contains various top technologies in the universe. One of its functions is to assist him in concentrating and releasing energy. David knew that what he was integrating should be the Thanos from the movie.'
'But maybe Thanos is Thanos, and some things will not change.'
He guessed in his heart.
'In the Movie Universe, it is likely that Thanos was obsessed with finding the infinity stones and being the Director of his own Universe Family Planning office, having no time to tap his own potential.'
'Even if Thanos has no energy rays, his strong body is enough to traverse the universe.'
David shook his head, not knowing what to do with the energy in his body.
Right now, he doesn't have the conditions to manufacture a suit of cosmic high-tech armor and to modify his own biology.
'The extra ability seems useless for the time being?'
David raised his eyebrows on the way home from the suburbs.
"What a coincidence, David!"
A voice full of resentment and complacency suddenly sounded.
A figure slowly walked out of the fork in the road, and suddenly blocked the way of the two of them. The skin on his body was covered with ice and snow, his lips were frosted, and his face looked a bit hideous.
"I was going across the town and wanted to go to your family's farm, but I didn't expect to meet you here."
"Sean?"
Clark raised his head, looking at Sean whose skin had an abnormal color and seemed to be trembling, with a surprised expression, and couldn't help but ask "Are you okay?"
"Are you okay?"
Hearing this question, Sean opened his arms and laughed wildly, "I can't be better!"
"Now!"
He looked at David sharply, with a stern expression, the grass on both sides of the palm was frozen to pieces, with the blowing of the wind, and the ice and snow flew all over the sky.
"Kneel on the ground and beg me, I can consider to spare your life, David."
Walking here across town, his ability to absorb heat emerged again.
"Have you considered going to the circus to apply for a job?"
David heard that and his face turned cold.
From Sean's appearance, it was not difficult to see that he was mutated by kryptonite radiation.
"There must be a full house for the freak you are now."
"Your ignorance will lead you to your grave."
Being ridiculed, Sean was furious, jumped up, and punched him: "You don't even know what kind of power I have now!"
"Sean, stop!"
Clark pounced on him, trying to stop Sean from approaching David. To protect his younger brother, and to protect Sean.
But as soon as his hands touched Sean's body, his body heat was taken away uncontrollably.
A burst of sun-like light was born at the place where the two touched and were sucked into Sean's body.
"How can the heat in your body be larger than the Smallville thermal power station!"
The huge heat poured into his body, and Sean's physique was rapidly strengthening. He widened his eyes and exclaimed in disbelief.
"I'm getting stronger!"
