Chapter 3 - 2_Perimeter

Alaric forgot it's the holiday season. These situation causing even Business class to be full because the Economy class quota via online has run out long ago. For Alaric and Aymard still had chance to be on these flight were just because Dono paid more than the prices offers by. The benches left in each row only one or two. Become a separator between families who are in groups on vacation. Can we imagine the hubbub that occurs because there is at least one toddler in each family. Dono can already be comfortable set two benches away from Alaric. The two rows in front and behind Alaric were also empty because Aymard and Danti who were supposed to be with them had upgraded themselves to the best cabin. Be a guest of the person of AR.

Suddenly, a woman holding a baby walked up then sat down in front of Alaric's row. The place where Aymard should be. Alaric twisted when he heard the sound of a crying breaking out. His brain was compressed and his heart began to burn with emotion. The Young Mother has occupied a place that is not belong to hers.

"Patience, Baby. You're hungry huh? Honey, want to drink milk? Want to?"

Dono turned his head when he found Alaric holding his back.

"Ouch, calm down, baby! Don't cry like that, baby. Mommy is so nervous. Yes, yes, let's take a look."

Alaric glared, looking at the top of the female head in front of him. Right in front of him! He cursed how narrow the gap between rows on commercial flights. Its made him fail immediately to stand up. He is upset now. His feelings are even worse.

"Sorry, madam!" he reprimanded.

The woman turned around to watching Alaric from the top of the backrest. The baby in his arms screamed again even though he was almost silent just now. A sting sound sounded from the baby.

"Are you planning on breastfeeding your baby?"

The woman raised an eyebrow trying to understand the meaning of Alaric's reprimand. Slowly the look in her eyes gradually became cold, nodding slowly with her jaw clenched.

"Here? In front of me? In a place that is not your right?" asked Alaric.

Instantly the cabin was quiet as Alaric's exclamation sounded sharply in anyone's ears.

"I thought it was an empty bench." said the young mother no less piercing.

Dono had stood up immediately. He on urged to mediated the two of them so that a commotion would not be born that had the potential to become a gossip. And, this time the exhausted Dono was not understanding why Young Master Alaric had such a hard time empathizing or tolerating such a trivial affair.

If only this Master had been kind, the hubbub of the cabin could have been reduced by half. The baby, admittedly, accounted for half the melee because his cries were the most shrill. If he had calmed down after feed by his mother, the cabin would have been more peaceful.

"No. It's not empty. I mean this series, and behind me, also that and that is not without owners. We have already paid for it."

The woman was even more upset. The baby's crying was even more shrill.

"I'm sorry, madam. Mr. Alaric means, can you concentrate on your baby?" said Dono politely. He tried anticipating an argument.

The woman turned to Dono and spoke with a trembling voice,

"I know my baby is bothersome. I came here because I thought it would be easier to keep him quiet. Because it is not crowded here. I'm sorry if I disturb Honorable Your Master Alaric!"

She exclaimed with a raised intonation. It is making the baby again squeaky. Not to forget, he gave Alaric a sharp gaze that was full of seeds of hatred. There began to be a low whisper in all corners of the cabin.

Alaric scarlet, "Be polite, Woman! Just use your rights!" he said coldly.

Dono swallowed. It is definitely not a good situation. He saw Alaric looking intently at the woman.

"Tell her to go back to her place, Dono! I need peace here!"

Dono smiled wryly at this. He found the young lady angry and forgot about her baby who was now crying until choked. His voice began to hoarse as if swallowed. The woman seems to want to serve Alaric more than take care of her beloved baby.

"What the hell! Who do you think you are? Dear Mr. Alaric, you are a nobody!" she shouted.

Dono cut off his steps blocking her from visiting Alaric. The Young Master Alaric just looked lazily with one foot propped up on the other.

"Madam, your baby -"

"Shut up you, lackey! My business is with your miserable Master! Pretentious matters!"

Dono sighed, "Ma'am, please. Your baby needs you very much. Please breastfeed your baby. Now."

Alaric glared at Dono completely disagreeing. Dono tried to calm Alaric down by nodding his head. He was staring begging Alaric for understanding. The woman kept trying to get closer to Alaric making Dono get overwhelmed because she was so firm with her emotions. Fortunately, an airline officer approached. The woman glared at Dono ready to complain to the Officer but her tongue was lost because the Officer approached Alaric first. He bows and ask questions with courteous hospitality of premium class service standards.

"Mr. Alaric Dirdja, is there any problem?"

Silent. Only the babbling of children was heard. Almost all adult eyes are glued to them. But soon a whistling sound sounded, followed by someone's chirp.

"Well, well, it's Prince Alaric Dirdja apparently."

"Who?"

"One of the heir of those ultra-rich family whoses wealth came before the colonial eras and won't run out for next ten generations."

"Why did he go up the economy?"

"Bankrupt maybe."

Alaric clearly felt his ears heat up. It must have been very red in the color of his face. He circulated a sweeping glance at the entire cabin. Spying is aimed intensely at him. Honestly, several persons intense stare making Alaric want to swallow hard but he persists to remain still. Refusing to be intimidated.

Dono sighed, "Just a misunderstanding."

"Misunderstood? It's ridiculous! This rich boy is very excessive!" said the young mother.

Alaric clucked irritably. He was subconsciously standing up while ruffling his waist. The airline clerk still smiled politely asking Alaric back.

"Mr. Dirdja, can I help you?"

Dono turned around, standing between the rows. Preventing Alaric from continuing to confront the Baby's mother. He quickly said,

"Please tell Mrs. Aisha Roestam in First Class that Mr. Alaric Dirdja accepted her invitation."

Alaric's jaw hardened. He was wishing to kick Dono immediately. But, trying to refrain from speaking, he gradually understood Dono's meaning. Although accepting AR's PA offer after rejecting it was tantamount to hurting his self-esteem, Alaric knew it was the solution to the situation. The best choice between two unpleasant choices! Lingering in a crowded economy class like this is not at all good for his mental health.

Especially after dealing with a quarrelsome young mother just now that she forgot her baby that now cried silently. The poor tiny creature's face was very red. He was no longer shrill. Already exhausted.

The clerk nodded and passed. It wasn't until three minutes that he had returned and let Alaric walk first to the best cabin. Alaric stepped steadily and glancing intimidately at every eye that caught his sight. The officer helped Dono clean up Alaric's belongings. In front of the young mother, Alaric paused, talking flat heartlessly.

"Take it all, Lady! Breastfeeding him as comfort as possible. Be a good mother, don't be an exagerrated person!" he said.

The woman squinted.

"It's embarrassing. You prefer to argue and yell at me. Even though the buttons of your shirt are open and "it" goes everywhere. You don't mention at all that your baby is almost fainted." he continued sarcastically as he took another step.

The sound of suppressed laughter could be heard as swearing punctuating disrespectful shouts too. A very entertaining spectacle. It will not quickly disappear from memory of everyone watched. But, for some people who are wary, a name that came up just now is more firmly hooked in memory.

Aisha Roestam. Who is she?

They had already heard about someone buying up the entire first class on this flight. It is certain that when tracing the land later, finding out about it is an obligation. Googling as usual or via the ever-hot RSVP, maybe?

How is Alaric? Of course he didn't think like it. Ignoring that Aisha Roestam also has the initials AR. Not to think that there is a very obvious possibility. It could be that AR is Aisha Roestam herself. The reason, of course, is because his brain does not like to digest the possibility of someone appearing without anything sparkling when has too much money.

How shallow Alaric the Prince is.
