Sonata couldn't help but laugh after hearing Diether's explanation as to why he looked so stressed out when she accidentally said the word 'baby' out loud earlier. "So, His Majesty and Father tried to use emotional blackmail on you? To make a baby with me?"
"You really don't sugarcoat your words, huh?" Diether said, sighing while walking next to her. "You don't have any idea about how good Father and the king are when it comes to manipulating the people around them."
"It only works when the opponent is too soft-hearted," she said casually, shrugging. "When dealing with cunning bastards like the king and your father, you just have to act tougher than them. If your heart wavers in front of them, then you've already lost the fight."
"I'll pretend I didn't hear you curse at the king and your father-in-law."
