Maria had walked into the police station and as soon as she identified herself as Maria Palmer, two officers flanked her and mirandarized also informing her of her charges. Maria was shocked to say the least. She attempted to put up a fight and dispute the charges telling the officers they have the wrong person, but the officers threatened to add resisting arrest to her charges. Maria was escorted into an interrogation room.
