Chapter 32 - Cousins

The week flew by, Alice had been accepted into the Biochemistry Engineering program she'd applied for at the Military university, Xander continued to follow Alice around like a lost puppy. He was upset that she didn't use his name to get into the Military University as he felt this would protect her long-term, Alice disagreed, she felt it would make her a target. They were not a couple, Alice had rejected his love confession citing she had a lot on her plate, and she couldn't afford to add more, and it would not be fair to him. He told her he'd wait til she was ready, in the meantime they could be friends; Alice had no reason to reject him.
