"Don't be in such a hurry! We still have some time!"
Contrary to how one would normally react to the black clouds gathering in the middle of the lake, the ship's captain didn't seem to be bothered by the phenomena at all.
He stood on the side of the ship, hanging on to the railing while leaning himself over the railing and inspecting the progress of the workers.
Theo's plan was simple.
Now that they'd reached as close to the shore as it was possible without damaging the ship, the captain ordered his crew… to give it a makeover.
And so, the crew detached a set of six small rowboats, three on each side of the ship. Then, once at least one man entered every rowboat, the rest of the crew started to pass over the supplies.
The ship was packed to the brim with all sorts of wares, but what Nay, Theo, and the kid could take with them was extremely limited. And it was far less than those six rowboats could carry to the shore in a single trip.
