Holly and I woke up the next day still wet from the other day. I went to take a shower while Holly went to the kitchen and made us breakfast. I got out of the shower, and I lifted my nose to the smell of waffles, bacon, biscuits, and gravy. We sat down for breakfast. "Everything is delicious."
"Your welcome, Nick," she said.
"Can I borrow one of your cars to go shopping for a special surprise for you," she said. "Sure, pick out any of my cars to take."
"Thanks, sweetie," she said, getting up and kissing me on the cheek.
Holly walked out of the kitchen. Holly will be okay, and she will be fine. I have trust in her. I finished my breakfast, got up from the kitchen table, cleaned off the kitchen table, and put the dishes away. I went to the bedroom and found something formal to get dressed in for the day. I found a white shirt and kiton tuxedo and black dress pants that were all tailored-made for me. I went upstairs to the strip club to see how many alcoholic beverages I will need to order for restocking my bar with drinks.
Hearing the door open, I yelled, "Is that, you Holly."
Turning around, I realized I was wrong. My eyes landed on a police officer. What did I do now?
"May I help you, officer?"
"I am trying to find the right words to tell you, but I am just going to come right out and say it," the officer said.
My heart sank in my chest, and my hands went numb, my mouth dry.
"Where, Holly?"
The officer looks at the ground. Looking at the ground, I can quickly tell the officer is troubled, and I start to panic. There's a lump in my throat, and my hands are shaking. Saying I am terrified is an understatement.
"Holly was in a car accident," the officer said.
"Where is my girl? Is she okay?"
"She passed away in my arms; I was the first responder," he said.
I can't stand, I can't think, and I can't feel. If only I knew Holly would be kissing me on my cheek for the last time. Her smile, her laugh is gone. I fell to my knees, I lost it, and my face was suddenly soaked with tears.
"A drunk driver hit her in a head-on collision," said the officer.
"Is that bastard still alive?"
I couldn't get a hold of my anger, and I didn't even try. He took away my baby girl, and he will pay for it.
"He is recovering at the hospital with minor cuts and scrapes," said the officer.
This information brings me anger and sadness but mostly fear. I am scared of what I am going to do to this man. The officer was crying too.
"He will go down for manslaughter, so don't do anything stupid," the officer said.
I nodded my head. The officer shouldn't know what I am planning inside my dark mind filled with hate.
After the officer left, I planned on going to the hospital. One of my plans was to have a little chat with the guy, and he turned my world upside down. I needed to see Holly Hospital morgue. Knowing I have magic, my mind hatched a plan to save her, to bring her back to life. I took a deep breath, and I was ready to be on my way. I grabbed my keys and headed, rushing to the garage to get a ride.
Once in the vehicle, my hands were shaking so badly. What If I can't bring Holly back from the dead? Is my power strong enough? Get it together, I told myself. I drove off fast to the hospital, and I prepared myself for whatever happens at the hospital. This guy will get what's coming to him.
It wasn't long; I pulled into the hospital parking lot, parking in visitor section C. I got out of my car and used my north pole magic to locate the person that hurt Holly. My magic found him immediately, and he was in the emergency part of the hospital. My magic sniffed down the person causing me so much hate. You have to be fucking me. My eyes see the one shitbag I didn't want to see. I should have known it was him all along. The man from Kris Kringle's vision was there in the hospital bed. He was bound to hurt Holly one way or another, that son of a bitch.
Using my powers, I appeared in his hospital room. I walked around the bed. He was sleeping, oh that won't do. I used my magic to throw a water ball, waking him up.
"What the hell are you doing here," he said.
"Getting revenge for my baby girl."
His mouth dropped open, and I laughed a little. I grabbed his throat with my hands and squeezed enough to think what I was going to do with this pathetic person next, and I pitched in my mind what I wanted to happen to that dickhead next. When I opened my eyes, I turned him into a snowman. I zapped the snowman to Antarctica. Perfect punishment.
Next, I used magic to find Holly, and she was not hard to find. I found Holly in the hospital morgue. I felt sad, seeing how Holly looked being in an accident. Holly had bruises all over her body, and Her skin had many cuts on it. Her face was hardly recognizable. She had pieces of glass still sticking up from her cheeks, and her eyes were black. She was pale and her lips blue. She felt so cold when I touched her. My face was wet with tears. Something shook inside me, seeing Holy like this. I should have treated her better. I picked Holly up in my arms, and she felt so limb. It was like I picked up a ragged doll. Closing my eyes, I screamed to the Northpole in my head. Yelling, calling for Kris Kringle. I hope he heard my calls.
When I opened my eyes, I saw many candy canes, so I know we made it to the right place.
"We are here, baby."
I kissed my sweet girl's forehead. My eyes landed on the workshop, my legs dashed through the snow as fast as they could. I needed to save Holly. Kris Kringle was waiting at the door.
"I heard your cries," he said.
"Can we save her, please?"
"It is going to take powerful magic," he said.
"I will do whatever it takes to get Holly back."
"The magic spell requires true sacrifice," he said. I nodded my head.
"I will do whatever to save Holly."
"To save someone dear, you have to sacrifice the very thing you hold near," that's the riddle he said.
I thought about it for a moment. The thing I hold near. Near what? Near my heart. The most important thing in my life, the club. I must destroy Jingle Balls.
I looked at Kris Kringle, "I will set Jingle Balls on fire."
Closing my eyes, I pictured myself in the club. I looked around, and my heart hurt; thisq`1 was my home. The thing in life I worked so hard at. My favorite place in the whole world. I couldn't help but cry. I made gasoline appear in one hand and matches appear in the other. I took a deep breath I began to pour the gas. This is for Holly! Taking one more look around, I take in all the images before me. The bar and the pole, I will never see it again.
I lit a match and threw it to the ground. Yellow and heat take over my senses. It was hot and bright. I watched as my club was burned down piece by piece; I watched horrified. Picturing Holly dead, I remind myself that I was doing this for. Closing my eyes, I yelled Northpole in my mind. When I opened my eyes, I was back at the North Pole. Holly was lying on the ground as the elves gathered around her.
"It's done."
"You just need to give her a kiss," Kris Kringle said.
Inching my face to Hollys, my lips finally meant hers. My lips moved across hers, and I felt the cold of her lips on mine. In moments her lips felt warm, and she was kissing me back. I wrapped Holly in my arms, and I ran my fingers through her hair.
"You saved me," she said.
"I always will, baby."
"I also gave Holly a knowledge spell, so she knows everything about the north pole," Kris Kringle.
"Thanks." I gave him a big hug.
"You sacrifice Jingle balls for me?"Holly said. \
"I would sacrifice anything for you."
"You and Holly will have to live here in the North Pole, and Holly is dead in New York," Kris Kringle said.
"We can build a new strip club here."
"That sounds like a great plan," Holly said.
