Seeing the wolf suddenly turn around and slash at him, Leon reacted quickly, slashing his Greatsword to meet the ferocious attack of the wolf.
He didn't want to kill it, so he didn't put all his strength in the slash, it was more like a casual slash.
The two weapons clashed, claw met Greatsword, the wolf yelped like a bullied dog as it was sent flying by Leon's strike.
"Just a mutant beast..." Leon scoffed.
He was able to guess this previously becauses the beast didn't attack with it's obvious affinity with the ice element, instead, it attacked physically. But after the clash of their strike, his guess was confirmed.
Just as he was thinking about this the beast's stats showed in his view.
