Leon did not know what to feel at this point, he did not know where Gladius was going with this, but he did not ask lest he annoys him, as his emotion was currently unstable, so all Leon needed to do was to listen.
"After his so-called theory was proved right, and I confirmed that my roadblock was my low-level mastery in the Sword Laws, I asked him to teach me, but he asked me of a single favor which I must fulfill before he start guiding me to learn the Law. Since this realm, the laws, was left untouched by all Gods except Zeus, am the first person eager enough to want to learn a law
He didn't tell me the details but when I asked, he said that he would tell me once I agree, At this point, I knew that I would do anything, absolutely anything to reach the peak of sword mastery. And at the end of it all, He told me the details and Alas! It was for me to help in a plan to assassinate Deus"
"But Since Deus was the God Of Soul, and was powerful enough to sense any soul close to him within a Galacy meter radius, the Assassination plan failed, with me being the main close combat attacker due to my powerful sword attack, but alas, even that was not enough, Zeus soul freezed me the moment I teleported close and Slashed at him with my strongest Sword attack. Somehow even my Galaxy-destroying Sword attack was also frozen. As shocked as I was, I discovered that my attack was nothing for him to handle. Under my Shocked Gaze, my vision blanked out, the rest was history, I was never able to know what happened to the other Gods who assisted in the assassination plan"
Leo was shocked, though he knew that Deus was strong, he did not know that Deus Anima was this strong!
For him to be capable of freezing a Sword energy arc that was capable of destroying an entire Galaxy! His strength surely is on a whole new level!
At this point Leon's heart palpated.
'If Deus with this Level of strength couldn't kill Zeus, then just how strong was Zeus, and how would I be able to kill a monstrosity with such strength'
His heart was thumping rapidly, he did not know if he would be able to achieve the feat of killing Zeus, it is simply impossible!
[You Don't have to worry about that for now, the System was Created by Deus to make this possible, it also has with it, additional skills which are unique enough to handle Zeus, but you have to reach a certain level and complete a certain mission to unlock the skill, but you don't have to worry, as you won't be doing this anytime soon]
At this point, Leon sighed in relief, though he already knew that he won't fight Zeus anytime soon, the fact that he would fight such a monster in the future scared the shit out of him, Luckily for him, Deus made preparation.
But still, even with all the dangers that loom ahead in wait for him, Leon did not regret choosing this path one bit.
Nevertheless, after the long talk, Gladius turned and looked at Leon, giving him a serious look, "Am placing all my hopes on you to kill Zeus, I will teach you everything I know, in return you have to sign a contract to do your best to kill Zeus"
"What!? Contract"
Leon knew that things like contracts are not to be taken lightly, and delicate issues like this make the contract more dangerous to sign.
Signing a contract like this is the same as signing his life, because if he relaxed a little or makes a single mistake then it's over for him, as his life would be terminated in an instant.
Leon sighed in disappointment, 'I didn't expect him to stoop so low, his obsession must be on another level'
Though Leon was expecting something like this, he did not know that Gladius instead of asking him to promise to do his best, would ask him to sign an actual contract.
After being killed by Deus all of Gladius's anger was directed to Zeus, but Leon could guess that from what Gladius had told him, that alone is not enough to make him angry to actively seek Zeus's death.
'He must be hiding something, there is something he is hiding, and that thing he hides from must be the reason why he hates Zeus this much'
Being a gangster has both it's good and bad side, and one of the good things Leon learned was to be smart. Smart enough to find out that Gladius was hiding something just from his words alone. Though Trickster is the best at stuff like this, Leon still has his equal share of experience.
He is also able to get a hint of lying from people's faces, but Gladius seemed to be perfect at hiding stuff like this, because not only was he able to hide something with a straight face, but he also acted as though nothing happened.
Nevertheless, Gladius gave him a mean glare and continued, "After what Zeus has done to me, I don't trust words again. So if you are honest in what you say, then you shouldn't mind signing a blood contract..."
'Fuck you' Leon clenched his fist in anger, 'This Gladius is deceitful, he is trying to make me look like a bad guy if I choose not to sign it, he is using an emotional trap on me, he wants to use my emotions against me'
'Gladius must have known from the start that I would not dare choose to bind myself with eternal shackles by signing that contract, and now he is using my conscience against me. Using it against me in such a way that I would have no other choice but to sign the contract'
'This Gladius is a shameless shit, I thought Sword immortals are supposed to be straightforward in their motion, Well, it's all my fault for expecting too much. What do I expect from someone who has lived for millions of years before dying'

The more Leon thought about this, the more furious he got.
As much as he wanted to refuse, he needed Gladius' training very badly...
"If you don't want to sign the contract then just say it, say straight to my face that you would never help me!" Gladius said in a demanding voice, it was as if he was in a hurry to make Leon sign the contract.
