She went toward her chamber to clear her thoughts. As they aproached the chamber she told her handmaidens to wait outside and opened the door .
She was surprised to find Ahmed waiting for her.
"What are you doing here ?" she asked shocked by his sudden appearance.
'Hello dove " he greeted ignoring her question acting as if he didn't even heard her. He took short calculated steps towards her all this while his eyes taking in every detail of her petite frame.
On the other hand Mehrima was trembling due to his gaze. She can feel the storm in his tone . He is angry Damn It ! He is pissed .
he took his time coming towards her creating a suspence which was making the princess weak and anxious. Finally he stood infront of her, holding her chin to make her look in his eyes .
" I heard you are getting married baby ?What a pity you didn't even invite me " Mehrima gulped the lump forming in her throat.
He seemed to be on edge.
" amm...Ah Ahmed " She almost screamed when his hold on her chin tightened
" What little dove ? Tell me are you really gonna marry that little cousin of yours ?" His eyes shining with a possesive glint
"Ahmed I .... Its not like what you think " She tried to make him understand .
No matter how much of a powerful princes she is she acts like a nervous cat infront of him.
"So what is It ? Tell me ? You didn't even protest Mehri ! " He was loosing his patience . She was sitting there with her head held low , Why didn't she protest ?
"I cant talk back to her infront of everyone ! " Now it was her time to be angry " She is Queen Mother for God's sake. I had to stay quiet in her respect That dosen't mean I will marry him " He needs to understand her point too
" So what are you gonna do exactly princess ? Go to her room in private and reject her offer ? "He frowned
" No " she is not an idiot her grandmother will never listen to her" I will talk to my father !" she stated
"What if he don't listen " He asked bitterlty
" He will never force me to marry some one I don't want to " She frowned " I am his only daughter he never rufuses me anything " This made him calm a bit . Tension left his body and he looked calm visibly
But what he did next took her breath away . In a swift motion he pulled her closer in his arms " I missed you " he said burrying his face in her neck inhalimg her sweet smell of roses and sandalwood
" I missed you too " she said hugging him back " I was counting the days of your return "
"i am back mow " he said frowning at her sad face " Where id the smile ruined my night sleeps " he said playfully
" You will leave soon " she stated close to crying " I don't like this at all Ahmed. I cant take this anymore , I want to stay with you "
