"Okay, we will let you go at sunrise."
Jeffrey blanched at these words.
It was a death sentence.
He saw Natasha saunter over to the windows and she pulled back the curtains with a flourish to show the full moon night.
Then without so much a word, the trio summarily left the room.
Jeffrey's eyes widened in horror.
It was still dark out but dawn will come in two hours.
He needed to get out of here.
As a new vampire he has only heard of death by sunlight. He hasn't actually seen it occur but he knew that it was painful.
Jeffrey began to struggle wildly.
Minutes ticked by to no avail. Jeffrey remained tightly bound to the chair.
Then by luck, he felt it! The restraints began to give way a teensey bit.
Just a little bit more, he thought.
Jeffrey kept on pulling at the restraints.
And then, the door opened and Natasha made her way in.
