Chapter 7 - broken fate ...

They were escorted by their managers and staff to their separate dressing rooms. They were told to stay there until the concert was over. They were told to avoid each other and the media. They were told to act professionally and responsibly.

They locked themselves in their rooms and cried. They felt angry and sad. They felt betrayed and misunderstood. They felt guilty and sorry.

They wanted to talk to each other and clear things up. They wanted to apologize and explain. They wanted to hug and kiss.

But they couldn't. They didn't have each other's contact information. They didn't have any way to communicate. They didn't have any chance to meet.

They thought about what they said and what they heard. They thought about what they meant and what they understood. They thought about what they wanted and what they lost.

They came to the wrong conclusions. They made the wrong decisions. They said the wrong words.

insu thought: "He lied to me. He doesn't love me. He only used me for publicity. He doesn't care about me or my feelings. He doesn't want to be with me."

young-min thought: "She lied to me. She doesn't love me. She only used me for fame. She doesn't care about me or my career. She doesn't want to be with me."

They decided to end their relationship and move on with their lives.

They wrote each other a letter and left it on their dressing room doors.

insu wrote: "Young-min, I'm sorry for everything. I'm sorry for hurting you and disappointing you. I'm sorry for not trusting you and not understanding you. I'm sorry for not being brave enough and not being honest enough. I'm sorry for not being the one for you."

Young-min wrote: "insu, I'm sorry for everything. I'm sorry for hurting you and confusing you. I'm sorry for not protecting you and not supporting you. I'm sorry for not being smart enough and not being careful enough. I'm sorry for not being the one for you."

They left their letters and left the venue.

They never saw each other again.
