What the hell am I even looking at? Veronika was confused and scared. this was the strangest thing she had ever seen in her life. the baby crawled out of the man, the baby had a perfect face yet the rest of the body was distorted, after a few minutes the baby melted into the shadows and disappeared.
she was too confused to even think what had just happened, she was stuck there frozen for a few moments until she finally snapped back. she slowly walked over to the man, his body was shriveled up like all of his being was sucked out. there was nothing she could do for the man.
Even if she were in her prime she couldn't do much for him, she reached out her hands towards him, and the ans body crumbled up like a dry leaf and faded away like ash. She frowned then gathered his ashes into a small pouch on her side.
she stood up and sighed.
