Veronika watched as logan drank the potion, his expression pale. after he finished it, he dropped the bottle and then turned to Veronika before he could speak she stopped him they were in silence for a few moments but she suddenly spoke
"…Why did you risk it?" Logan's expression brightened faintly as he responded with a soft chuckle.
"I didn't want you to die…"Veronika's expression contorted to confusion as she raised her palm to her face and then said
"I thought you hated me… wouldn't it have been better if I died there?" Logan shook his head.
"your death would have benefited Elijah, not me. besides you are a massive help to me." Veronika's expression was low for a moment as she asked once more
"Do you hate me?"
