Sage was frozen for a few moments, part of her felt ashamed and part of her felt dread, her lips qurrived slightly.
"i….I didn't know that" she replied. her father walked closer and sat on the couch that was next to them, his eyes lowered as he continued
"your mother…she was a wonderful woman -who was beautiful smart…and filled with emotion" Her father chuckled, his expression became soft as if trapped in a memory-then continued "You know, I named you after her…in my eyes, she was a sage, someone that understood the world on a separate level then other people…" Sage stepped closer to her father…
"Father I-" she stopped herself from speaking.
"Sage, there's something I haven't told you….the die I lost my job at the factory-there was a fire, and your mother Alisa was trapped inside. She tried to help the others escape but…" his voice trailed off as if he were reliving the very memory of that day.
