Lucas assumed that secret was completely safe, he never knew Aurora was aware of his infidelity.
"I know a lot of things, Lucas. I know the reason you did not take my side when you could have." In truth, he was the one who betrayed Aurora by sleeping with another woman, but he knew if he defended her against the accusations, his affair with his mistress would be exposed.
"You know nothing Aurora, you can choose not to believe me but nothing is going to stop me from claiming you now. You were always mine and would always be mine," he said, his gaze, darkening as he neared Aurora.
Shaking her head, Aurora took a step back and stared at him with contempt. She should have known this was all about his ego, and he had not changed a bit. He only wants her back because he didn't want her to be happy with another man, it was not because he was apologetic.
