Opening her eyelid slowly, Aurora sat up on the bed and looked around. Looking down at her body, she remembered what had occurred, and she immediately took to her feet when she couldn't find Damien in the room.
They had just mated and he was supposed to be in bed with her, where could he have gone?
About walking up to Damien's wardrobe for clothes, the door creaked open and Scarlet entered with a sullen expression. Both relieved and worried, Aurora walked up to her and started bombarding her with questions, causing Scarlet to yell at her.
"Aurora!! This is not the time to cling to Damien, we are at real war, and Damien is back to the frontlines of war. All he wants is for you to be safe in this room," Scarlet said, making her digest the situation even though it was vivid enough.
