Back at Damien's Mansion
"What do you mean? Have you explored the pack thoroughly?" Damien, immersed in his daily work within his study room, sought clarification from Enoch regarding Louis's whereabouts. Damien aimed to complete his remaining tasks before picking up Aurora for their visit to the phantom hills. Now, Enoch was conveying the troubling news of Louis's absence.
Given Louis's unfamiliarity with the pack, Damien speculated that he might have lost his way and spent the night outdoors. Damien wouldn't be surprised if they discovered Louis sleeping outside, as he was accustomed to surviving alone.
"We have searchdd the pack three times, but there's no trace of him," Enoch replied, deepening Damien's frown. Could someone have taken advantage of Louis and harmed him?
But, aside from the mansion workers, no one knew about Louis's presence in the pack. Damien pondered who might want to harm Louis.
