"Unfortunate? What happened?" Damien asked.
"Their mistake cost the dark witches their children's lives. Didn't you notice there weren't any kids on the street?" The boy answered, picking up stones.
Now that the boy was mentioning it, he truly didn't see kids on the street. Normally, kids loved to play on the street and none were on the street where they came from
"Are you not exhausted from having to carry her all the way here?" Staring at Aurora, the boy asked.
"No, I am fine, let's go." Eager to get things done with, he answered and started walking towards their door but was stopped by the boy.
"Stupid! You don't just walk into a dark witch's house." The boy scolded.
Damien felt offended by being called stupid, but the boy was right and he couldn't help bubbling in his anger.
