Scarlet closed her eyes, not ready to witness her friend's body being cut into two. Gritting her teeth, she shivered, when she felt a sound that sounded like a heavy thing rolling on the floor.
As if sensing her fear, the guards let her loose making her fall to the ground hopelessly. She was the cause of her best friend's death, and she was never going to forgive herself for that. Tears started rolling out of her eyes, and she began slamming her chest in guilt of what she had done.
She only wanted to buy that jerk time, she never planned to fasten her friend's death in such a horrific way like this.
"Who is next?!" A familiar voice thundered in the hall, causing everyone to flinch in fear. Scarlet felt a powerful aura emanating from beside her, and it took a while for it to register in her mind that he was back.
