After ending the call, Enoch made his way into Damien's office, the room devoid of light as they had been immense in setting things right since they arrived. The curtains were drawn, with only a bulb lighted as a source of light.
Dave was peacefully sleeping as he couldn't take working anymore, and decided to take a break. Meanwhile, Damien didn't look like he was tired or stressed, he was perfectly working under pressure. Sometimes, Enoch couldn't fathom how Damien found it easy to work no matter the circumstances.
Thanks to the unexpected crisis, he would have forgotten the type of man Damien was. The workaholic alpha.
"I suppose you have something to say?" Getting uncomfortable under Enoch's intent gaze, Damien asked, prompting Enoch to walk up to him.
"I thought you didn't notice me," Enoch teased, trying to avoid explaining why he was staring at Damien without saying anything.
