Directing his gaze at her, Dave instinctively sighed in relief upon contact with her gaze. When she shifted her gaze towards his, he quickly averted it, his heart almost threatening to come out of his chest.
"Miss Charlotte, I thought you were over your childish days back when you frequented the mansion?" Suddenly, one of the Elders spoke up, facing Charlotte with a stern look.
"Right, I was…." Speaking up, she tried to explain herself but was cut off by the same Elder, not ready to listen to her excuse.
"Although you came as the future Luna's escortee, you are well familiar with this pack's rules and regulations, do we have to teach you again because you are a guest?" The Elder cornered her, rendering her speechless.
