"Alpha, Alpha Lucas has arrived with his men!" One of Damien's men rushed into the pack house, delivering the news with a grin on Damien's face.
"But there's a problem," the man added with a frown, prompting Damien to motion for him to come closer.
"He's with Luna Aurora," the man reported, and chaos erupted instantly. How could Lucas have captured Aurora so easily? Something felt off, and his people might be in danger, he needed to send a message across immediately.
"Where is Lucas now?" Damien asked.
"Just outside the gate," the man responded, and Damien nodded.
Remembering the balcony overlooking the gate, Damien headed there and quickly spotted Lucas. His anger surged when he saw no sign of Aurora.
"Well, look who it is, the arrogant Alpha," Lucas taunted when he noticed Damien and laughed loudly.
