Aurora knew it was bound for him to find out, and that was why she was eager to leave the pack before matters worsened. When he had told her about Lucas weeks back, she knew they had a normal relationship and didn't want to ruin it. How was she going to avoid a problem at this point?
"I had no reason to tell you," she answered, silently apologizing to him. In as much as they were not yet officially a thing, he had the right to know as her mate.
"You had no reason? You signed a contract, and would have carried my child, don't I have the right to know about my baby mama's past?" He demanded, his voice getting harsh, an indication that he had been bottling up the anger.
"It was never stated in the contract," she defended. Yes, the contract only stated she had to give reports on her movements, not her past. And why would she feel the urge to tell a jerk like him about her past?
