"Enough with the staring, we haven't even reached the best part yet," Damien interjected, breaking her concentration. He shook his head and walked in a different direction.
Ohh! She mouthed, realizing she had been too indulged in praising the hill, that she didn't take note of her surroundings. Had she praised the hill too much?
Minutes passed, and they still hadn't reached the destination Damien was taking her to, causing her concern. Was he intentionally making her walk, or had they not arrived yet?
"Damien, where are we heading?" Unable to bear the strain on her legs, she finally asked.
"You will see," he replied, continuing to walk without looking back at her.
"Are we almost there?" She inquired.
"Someone's eager now," he teased, finally stopping.
