Chapter 103 - The Formidable Foe

Kevin sat at the bar, watching other customers. There were not many on the main floor but a number of them occupied private booths. Customers in one particular booth attracted his attention. The small man sitting in the middle looked at the others as a king would look at his subjects. Kevin felt the anger in his heart rise, simmering just beneath the surface. For a fraction of a second, their eyes met, and he knew the feeling was mutual.
