Han-bin observed Lorena's small heart-shaped face. He stroked her raven hair with a finger. Her eyelashes fluttered every time Han-bin touched her head.
'How can a person look so innocent but be vicious at the same time?'
Han-bin wondered how she came to be such a vile person. There was nothing much Han-bin could find about her past. She had started as a model trainee and risen to the status of a star supermodel in a very short time.
Han-bin could guess who was behind her odd success. But he knew he couldn't poke into her past while he was on this operation. Lorena was only a pawn in the game.
'She would make me into a human manikin if she knew I think of her as a pawn.'
"Won-ya, what are you thinking?" Lorena asked in her singsong voice without opening her eyes.
"Why do you ask?"
"I always wonder what other people think when they sit quietly."
