A week pass by as knigths crowded the training ground. It seems they're all preparing for the raid, as all the knight don their armor and raise their weapon. While on the outside, a bunch of adventurer are waiting and preparing themself for the raid. Sheila in her captain room watching on the window as people prepare themself.
"So this is it... The day of the dungeon raid..."
"Yes captain.." Rodney said on the corner of the room.
Sheila close her eyes as she tries to remember what happen a week ago. Just when Sheila arrive with the kids and royalty, she is needed to be in front of the king. Sheila proceed to walk over through the grand hallway inside the castle with Noir brother, Nolan beside her. They're both silent and didn't say a single thing to each other.
Sheila and Nolan finally arrive in front of the king. Sheila and Nolan down on their knee and bow down their head to the king sitting on the throne.
"HAIL TO THE ALMIGHTY KING, DEMIAN VON ASLANTAN VI!" Someone shouted from the side.
In front of Sheila and Nolan is an old man around his 40s. With a slick back blonde hair, complemented with an old and rough face. A sharp eyes just like an eagle. He has a long fur robe with diamond sparkle on it. A golden crown with 7 sharp peak up, as each peak had a unique gem to it. The king stay silent for a moment looking at Sheila and Nolan.
"Stand up.." The king spoke with a deep tone of voice.
Both Sheila and Nolan stand up but still had their face look down on the floor. A elegantly clothes man start to move one stop closer and open some sort of scroll and prepare himself to talk.
"WELCOME BACK 3RD DIVISION CAPTAIN AND 4TH DIVISION VICE-CAPTAIN!"
In that moment Sheila start to sweat and glance at Nolan. Her face turn into a surprise expression as Nolan seems to close his eyes and stood still.
"This kid... How is he vice-captain in a division already?! Didn't he left home 2 years ago? A vice-captain at the age of 18 is... No wonder Noir had inferiority complex with him... He is truly a genius..." Sheila said inside her mind.
"THE KING HAD A REWARD FOR THE BOTH OF YOU FOR ESCORTING THE NEXT ROYALTY GENERATION SAFELY BACK HOME!"
Some people start to enter in the grand throne room with some boxes. The people put down the boxes beside Sheila and Nolan. As one of the knight that carried the box open it. Both Sheila and Nolan could see the box is filled with gold and sparkling accessories. It seems something interest Nolan in the pile of accessories in the box, while Sheila eyes just turn into the gold piece looking at the mountain of gold inside the box.
"BUT! THE KINGDOM WILL ONLY GAVE HALF OF THE GOLD AND ACCESSORIES! IF THE 3RD DIVISION CAPTAIN AND 4TH DIVISION VICE-CAPTAIN WISHES TO GAIN THE OTHER HALF! THERE WILL BE A SPECIAL MISSION FOR BOTH DIVISION!"
Sheila had a handful of gold in her hand but let it go just after the messenger shouted so. But Nolan keep his eyes on the thing he want as the knight close the box. Nolan stare at the messenger as he open his mouth.
"So... What do you mean by this mission for both division? Does that mean the threat is that big that 2 division is needed?"
Sheila face began to sweat, as the other noble also sweats. The messenger gulp and nervously stare at the sheet of scroll in front of his eyes.
"YES THAT'S CORRECT!... THERE IS A THREAT NEARBY THE KINGDOM. A DUNGEON APPEAR 2 WEEKS AGO JUST EAST OF ASLANTAN BELOW THE MOUNTAIN!"
"A dungeon? What kind of dungeon needed 2 division to cleared it?" Sheila asked curiously.
The messenger gulp and stop for a moment "JUST 2 DAYS AGO, THE BLACK CAT GUILD SCOUTED THE DUNGEON... AND ONLY A PIECE OF PARCHMENT CAME BACK..."
Sheila and Nolan began to sweat profusely as it seems the situation is much more serious than they initially thought. The messenger began to look down as it seems the message is almost done.
"THE PARCHMENT CAME BACK AND IT'S ONLY 2 WORDS ON IT WRITTEN IN BLOOD... IT'S SAID 'DEMON' AND THAT'S IT..."
The room vibe turn to gloomy and intense just after the word demon being said by the messenger. Though Sheila start to smile in excitement. Nolan glances at Sheila for a moment and surprise looking at her smile.
"3rd Division Captain... Why are you.. Smiling?" Nolan asked quietly.
"Heh... I'm not sure myself... Though I feel like I'm... Excited" Sheila said with a weird grin on her face.
Nolan sweats nervously looking at Sheila but close his eyes and mind his own business. While Sheila raise her head a little.
"I. The 3rd Division Captain of Aslantan Knight. Will take on the mission!"
Everyone on the room except the king clap their hand and cheer for Sheila. As the king cough, everyone on the room turn their head to him.
"Sheila, Rakshana... Nolan, Bolevante... Your division will be dispatched and lead the dungeon raid... It will happen in a week from now, so prepare your division well.."
"YES MY MAJESTY!" Both Sheila and Noir shouted at the same time as they bow down and on one knee.
"Ah yes, THE MASTADONTE GUILD WILL ALSO HELP WITH THE RAID WITH SOME OF THEIR ADVENTURER!"
"I see, so some adventurer will also join forces with us... Understood!" Nolan said elegantly.
Sheila and Nolan bow their head as they left the throne room. The king exhales being anxious whether it'll be a success or not. As Sheila left the throne room and went outside the castle, she looks at the sky and smile like a devil.
"Heh... I can't wait..."
Back to the present, Sheila turn to Rodney as she looks at Rodney intensively. Sheila pass over Rodney and leave the room, she seems to have a big robe covering her whole body as she walk down the hallway. Rodney follows Sheila from behind as they both went over to the training ground. Sheila stood in front of the giant wooden door as she open the door.
"IS EVERYONE HERE AND READY?!" Sheila shouted.
People start to murmur and talk to themself, but some of the knights stand uptight and in a ready stance. As the other knight seems to join in unknowingly.
"YES MAM!" Most of the knight shouted.
Rodney cross his arm, as his plate armor clunk loudly for everyone to hear. Sheila stare right and left looking at the knight in a stance. Though two knight in the crowd start to get closer to both Sheila and Rodney.
"Hahahah! Long time no see 3rd Division Captain, welcome back!"
"Heh... Long time no see 4th Division Captain, Damnatio Leoparte.."
Damnatio get closer to Sheila as everyone could see a handsome and smooth face second to none in the whole kingdom. His long blonde hair flowing in the air like the flowing river. His long eyelashes and crystal-like white eyes made all girls madly in love with him instantly. All the woman knight start to cheer and crazy over Damnatio.
"Kyaaaa! Sir. Damnatio look at me!!!"
"Don't worry everyone! After the dungeon raid, I will give you all my autograph!" Damnatio said with a soft elegant voice.
The girls start to scream and went crazy just from his sentence alone. Sheila is annoyed looking at Damnatio being a womanizer. But Sheila looks behind him to see Nolan with a black robe and some plate armor don on his body.
"Heh, when did ya get a new vice-captain?"
"Ah! This kid? It was 4 months ago! Amazing right? He join the 4th division 2 years ago and in just 1 year and 8 months he became the vice-captain Hah!"
"Did he buy you to be the vice-captain?"
"Hah! Of course not, he just challenge the vice-captain 4 months ago and win against him in a duel!"
"Heh, not bad! Looks like you got quite a decent vice-captain there"
"Of course! Only the very best will be in my division!" Damnatio said as he pose and made all the girls went crazy again.
Sheila and Rodney start to get annoyed by Damnatio. But it seems Nolan is also annoyed by him. But even with Damnatio personality, the Leoparte family is one of the 12 Renown family throughout the land of Aslanta. The Leoparte family specialize in sword or rapier, and the Leoparte family promise to the kingdom to always became their sword.
And now the Leoparte generation is lead by Damnatio Leoparte, his skills in swordmenship surpass Sheila skills. But also Damnatio utilize his rapier technique uniquely as he made his sword style all by himself.
The knight began to leave the castle altogether as the gate open wide. The 3rd & 4th Division finally dispatched and ready for the Dungeon Raid today...
