The troops made the long journey of about eight miles to the orb, where they were attacked by small armies of ants, but managed to overcome them. The closer they got to the orb, the more ferocious and terrifying the ant attacks became.
The number of enemy troops seemed to multiply. It was even difficult to advance, and many human troops were killed or seriously injured. The troops who had been in their own platoons began to mix, and whoever was next to them had to protect each other.
There wasn't even a leader for each platoon, and everything became chaotic. Some army platoon leaders ordered the retreat, while others ordered the advance. But all the troops seemed to turn off their ears. The combined human army continued to advance, following the brave figures who were tirelessly charging the enemy forces.
Time rolled on.
Minute by minute.
Hour by hour.
Until it reached a period of a day, they continued to fight against the enemy.
