Everyone one around the table glanced at Fenrir with a questioning look on their face, "You might be biting off more than you can chew."

Fenrir shot a scathing gaze at Freya, "How many times do I have to tell you once I have a steady diet of meat I'll have a growth spurt. Besides, even right now I'm strong enough to handle a simple club."

"Alright then if you think you can handle it I trust you," Hunter shot a smile Fenrir's way who dipped his head in thanks, "Alright then I'll purchase the items, everyone just needs to accept the deal."

Everyone nodded and a second later a new screen replaced the list.

Holding out his hand Fenrir mentally opened his inventory and pulled out his new weapon. With a small flash of light the large wooden club settled into Fenrir's right hand.

Like the window had said the weapon was meant for those with above average strength. The club part of the weapon was nearly four feet long with six rectangular faces covered in sharp steel spikes that gleamed in the light. The handle of the weapon was about half the length of the blade and wrapped in leather for grip with a iron hoop at the end for a pommel. And attached to that hoop was a long length of a heavy iron chain with a padded steel manacle.

Happy with his decision Fenrir put his weapon away as he glanced at Freya who had taken out the scroll for mana bolt and was excitedly unfurling it. When the paper was unfolded there was a flash of bright blue light as the paper turned to ash leaving behind a series of glowing blue symbols that floated up and sunk into Freya's forehead.

Blinking, Freya groaned as her hands came up to rub her temples, "Fucking hell that hurt like a horse kick to the teeth."

"Are you alright?" Hunter asked with genuine concern.

Instead of answering verbally, Freya held out her hand and a mote of glowing blue fire appeared in the air above her palm. Dismissing the spell as second later Freya had a devious smile on her face, "Once I get a handle on this magic shit I'm gonna burn that bitch Penelope to a crisp."

The twins nodded in silent agreement, followed by Hunter, "While I think what they did deserves a good kick to the head, we're a long way away from being able to fight against them directly. So I think the best option is to take the combat or magic courses before we try and unlock our classes."

"The beginner classes aren't of any use to me. I'll keep going into Domains to farm monsters and contribution points. Then when you guys finish training we'll have more than enough to get everybody fully equipped." Fenrir corrected making Hunter frown.

"Not even the magic classes?" Hunter questioned, "Our guide said that even warriors should know basics of controlling their magic and mana."

"What Mordecai said was advice for those who haven't received any prior training." Fenrir explained as he stood up from the table.

"How did you know our Guide's name?" Hunter asked as followed Fenrir with his eyes.

Fenrir shrugged, "He's the guide for every student outside the capital joining the Academy."

Hunter frowned, "That's not a very funny joke."

Fenrir only grinned as he walked away wordlessly making Freya laugh. Turning to her Hunter was still frowning, "What's so funny?"

Stopping after a second Freya smiled, "It's funny because I've finally get to see someone else be on the receiving end of his bullshit."

Now that he was off on his own, Fenrir first checked into his living quarters. On his walk through the grand halls of the Academy, Fenrir came across a pathway where the left wall turned into a series of arched windows, letting sunlight stream in and providing an impressive view of the entirety of the land surrounding Heros Academy.

As it turned out, the Academy was in the middle of a large city, home to current students and professional adventures. There was the Academy itself, a massive stone castle where most classes were held, and a majority of the facilities, such as sparring rooms, war rooms for cohorts, alchemy labs, monster domains, blacksmithies, and beast stables. The Academy was so large that students most often traveled using a network of portals.

Outside the Academy was the City Heros, home to the majority of the Empire's active adventuring population. According to Mordecai, it functioned similarly to any other city, besides the fact it was in the middle of the Fae Forest, where some of the most dangerous beasts in the world roamed.

Moving past the view, Fenrir eventually arrived at his dorm. Fenrir was assigned a small room with a bed, desk, and a wardrobe with a common space he shared with sixteen other dorms as a first-year with next to no money to his name.

Students were allowed to purchase property in the City, but it was expensive even for most nobles. Some Cohorts could compile vast resources and backing to afford giant compounds to house their members with their own private facilities, but most only accepted the cream of the crop and definitely not an unknown first year.
