Christmas 707 Special
Narrator Pov:
This special is about what the griffins did for Christmas. This was during the time that the Poisoned Jake was there. The 707 stands for the current year that they were in. Previously Samuel was thinking about what to get Henry and Hannah.
It was Christmas Eve and everybody was having a good time. Even the Butlers and Maids, including Dallas and Ellison were. No-one was left out on the Party, they danced, had food, and drank juice all night as the children couldn't have alcohol.
Once they were done, the Butlers and maids cleaned up, as Samuel put the gifts below the tree. According to architect, this was when they first saw the new world, well the day after. But, the last time the old world was seen, was the second Sunday of April. No dates were ever listed though.
There were more Holidays, but those are for another time. "Alfred... Dallas, and Ellison, thankyou for helping," Samuel says, listing all the Butlers and Maids.
"Your welcome," They all said in unison back.
"You may go to bed," Samuel says to which they start to disperse. But Dallas and Ellison don't, they come forward with a few wrapped Boxes. "What are those?," Samuel asks, Curious.
"They are gifts for you and the kids. We saved up money and wanted to get them something they would enjoy. We also wanted to give you a gift to say sorry for what our father did," Dallas said. Even if Samuel had not forgiven their father, he had forgiven the kids, even if others did not.
"Thankyou," Samuel responded, and he headed to bed. Same for Dallas and Ellison, but something was happening in another room.
"What do you think we are going to get for Christmas!," Hannah was asking Aaron, being a bit loud.
"I don't know, but I can't wait, I wonder what dresses and stuff I will get!," Aaron exclaimed.
"Same...," Hannah continued talking with Aaron, not hearing the person outside. "Huh," She said when she heard crying from the door. She and Aaron go over and they hear footsteps going away. They open the door to find a pool of tears, and no-one to be seen. The only thing there, is a tuff of Light Dirty-blonde hair.
At that they realize what they had done, they had completely forgotten about the guests. They felt bad and thought of a way to cheer her up. But in another room, Jake's, Emma was crying with her head on Jake's Chest, face down.
"It's alright.. I'm here," Jake said weakly. He had been awoken by the cries of his sister, and said it only so loud that Emma thought the wind was blowing. Jake put his hand on her back as he fell back asleep. At that she realized her brother was with her and just cried more as someone watched from the hall. It was Aaron, she has gone to see Hunter to get an Idea of what Emma liked, but stumbled upon Emma.
Still feeling down and not able to confront her, she leaves.
The next day at Sunrise, everyone woke up and went down to the tree. An everyone was surprised, Samuel, Aaron, Hannah, Emma, everyone. Sure, all the gifts were there, but there were also more. Samuel got a case of wine From Dallas and Ellison. He also got some pens and ink from his children as well.
Aaron got a new dress and some night ware, as did Hannah. Theo got a practice sword and a combat suit, Henry got the same to match, they were from Samuel. Hunter had made it known that he had wanted nothing, so he received nothing. But, there were some addressed to people with no sender, or note.
Dallas and Ellison got some Winter Butler and maid outfits, made by a perfectionist. No-one knew who got it, or even made it, but they made the two keep them as they were a gift. Aaron got a necklace with a Stone that matched her hair, she would keep it under her clothes for some time though. Hannah also got a necklace with a stone that matched her hair and did the same as Aaron.
Emma received a new dress and Nightware from Aaron and Hannah. They had gone out, late at night, to get her some new clothes. They had also gotten her some Makeup on Hunters suggestion. But the last one, was what had stumped everyone.
It was a rather large box, when Emma opened it, Samuel could not believe his eyes. Inside was a Metal Shield, Emma hit it to test it and said, "It's perfect, who got me this?" But no-one answered because no-one knew.
"Can I try?," Theo asked and Emma nodded, handing it over. Theo also hit it after judging the weight, "This won't do anything, it is way to light. It would break from a single sword stroke."
"Really," Emma said, playing dumb.
"Can I see it?," Samuel asked and Emma nodded again. Samuel was wanting to see if it was what he thought it was. "I honestly wonder who would give such a thing away, whatever you do, don't lose that," Samuel said, giving it back.
"What do you mean?," Emma asked him.
"That there is the Shield of a thousand uses. But it has not been seen in centuries, the last to use it was someone From Architect. It was the first President of Architect, Hunter, not you. He gave it to his brother when he last saw him, to keep him safe. You want a bow, you got one, you want a mini catapult you got one, you want a bola launcher, you got it, you name it and it can be it," Samuel says, astonishing everyone.
No-one ever found out who got it for her, but one man knew. Hunter knew because he was watching Emma when Jake rested his hand on her back. It was in a way that he knew what he should do. Emma was strong sure, but had a weak defense, so why not give her something that wouldn't break. And at the same time could be anything that she needed.
But Emma didn't want to use it, so when she was alone, she put it in her Item Box. The Item box was a sphere that glowed like a Rainbow.
