It was on the anniversary day of Red Mansion.
The city was filled with talk of the elaborate party that would be thrown very soon that most infant companies announced a day off to their workers, even though not just anyone would be allowed to attend the party.
As everyone got eager to know when the party starts, reporters huddled at the big gate of the opulent mansion to keep the public updated.
Slowly, in came a pink Rolls Royce phantom, attracting the attention of every person at the gate, and they all glanced into the car to see the big man that arrived with such an expensive car.
But they were all wrong to have assumed it was a man — it was actually Isabella.
"Isabella Lee!"
One of the reporters informed the others and they gathered around the car, taking pictures non-stop.
It was quite of a show off when Isabella ordered her driver to roll the window, as she exposed the glittering yellow gown she was putting on, giving a "snap-me-more" expression to them all.

"God doesn't only give blessings, but also a perfect body shape. I told you you'll look good in any dress you wear," Anne convinced Annabelle she was good in the dress she worried about; but she was not sure.
"You think so?" Annabelle worried as she looked at the dress all over again grossly. "Because I must look extremely perfect to look like his real girlfriend. I must not mess up, Anne."
"Aye," she moved closer to her and caressed her shoulders, "no man would see you like this and say you are not beautiful. You are actually the most beautiful woman in the planet right now. Go on and show everyone you are actually his girlfriend, not a disguise."
She walked her with a smile to the car that man sent to take her.
Annabelle's heart raced extremely fast, as if she was going to be beaten. Nonetheless, her friend made her believe in herself.
As she walked to the car, she turned back to her and asked the driver to give them a minute.
"Aren't you also going to attend the party? You haven't gotten a dress!" Annabelle said in a worry.
Anne just smiled in a wry and shrugged, without saying anything.
After the car took Annabelle, Anne was short of words as she remembered when Alex promised to buy her a dress and she believed he had forgotten because he was a man of too much worries. Although she knew that personally, she was disappointed she won't be able to witness the elaborate event. Maybe Annabelle would gist her later.
The car appeared at her doorstep when she was about going inside and she saw a man she knew she recognized.
She asked in a worry and also, in uncertainty of wether her thought was true. "Why are you here?"
"President Reynolds asked me to bring you to the shopping mall," said the guy, in his late twenties, and Anne was immensely delighted that she jumped inside the car before the guy had noticed. It was obvious how happy she was, so the driver smiled and hopped inside to drive the car.
Inside the dark tunnel, Dark Hole crossing his arms at the back, and glaring in the opposite direction asked Winston,
"Did you say everything has been prepared for today?"
Winston answered him right away.
He proceeded. "A lot of people will be attending the party so it would be a great shot to expose everything there."
Dark Hole carved an evil smile on his face. He had longed for vengeance up to that day and he was extremely delighted he would get his wish fulfilled that day.
"Today, I feel my wish is going to come true. No one stayed by me when he dug the hole in me, so, let's see who would stay by his side when I reveal his true nature to everyone today." He carved the evil smile again and Winston smiled back, happy that his master's long-term yearn for vengeance was going to be achieved by him today.
He grinned again.
"Opportunity comes but once; it's either today or never!"
At the party's venue, Alexander dashed in with his armed bodyguards. And a round of applause rose.
The party coordinator stepped unto the stage. He held the Mic to his mouth and announced the audience. "Ladies and gentlemen, it's such an awesome delight to have you all here all over Asia. I am the coordinator, nice meeting you." He paused for a while in regards to the audience's cheery reaction. He continued, "I would like to inform you that the party will start in the next ten minutes. Enjoy your preparation for the one in town event. Thank you."
The audience applaud the coordinator as he stepped down from the stage.
There she was on the golden couch, glancing side to side with attractive intentions and sipping her cocktail. She wasn't done with the cocktail earlier when she asked the butler to serve her a cold wine, which was the most expensive drink.
Actually, the worth didn't matter as everything had been made available by the co-owners, so the butler went ahead to get her a drink. And besides, she was the Red Mansion's first lady — Alex's girlfriend.
Isabella called her female bodyguard closer and whispered, "Check for any trace of Anne around this party and delay her that she won't be able to attend. I don't want my pretty mood to be messed up on such a day."
The bodyguard left quickly to execute her order. She actually believed everyone were taking pictures of her at the moment, so she did picture poses not knowing she wasn't photographed, instead, she was being scoffed at.
Meanwhile, she thought she was a very important person in the eyes of everyone and her presence meant alot. Because she believed Alex would announce her as his betrothed when the press would ask. Little did she know how their thoughts would be turned off and make them unexpectable towards themselves for the rest of their lives.
Eugene approached the Rolls Royce as Annabelle stepped out. He put on a real smile as he held out his hand to her and she was looking so worried and scared.
Nonetheless, Eugene took her hand and gestured,
"Shall we go, my soon-to-be wife?"
He held her more lovely as he caught sight of reporters surprisingly taking their pictures. Well, he didn't expect his affair could also be considered important like that, but in spite of that, he encouraged her to muster up her courage so they could have a good picture. Then Annabelle took off her worries from her face and smiled, rolling her hand in his lovely grasp.
"You are too much perfect, Annabelle!" Eugene whispered and she was surprised how he knew her name.
In Eugene's dressing room.....
"Hey. What do you actually take me for? A joke? A toy you can just decide to play with because you are rich?"
"What?" Eugene said in disapproval, seeing how naggy Annabelle became after they left the entrance. "What an insolence! How dare you say that to me!"
She exploded, "Come on, save me the worries. Do you actually think you are the only one that have problem? Even if you do, you think you can decide who to solve it for you and when they become useless? I have been living my quiet life in peace until you hooked me up with your dirty game! In your eyes, I am really useless, right?"
"Hey...."
She cut in immediately, " " You jerk, don't you know who you are talking to? You should be happy I have chosen someone like you to help me of all people, yet you dare act like an ingrate? It was clear you violated law to abuse a Red Mansion dweller, that's why you were chosen for this operation to cover up your crime. Come back to your senses, you wretched piece of chess" — isn't that the kind of words you were going to say next?"
Tears rolled down her face.
Eugene was about talking when she interrupted again, in tears. "Why are we doomed when a person like you cause harm to us? Why must you guys be exceptional? You were the one that offended me yet I am the one apologizing! You promised to forgive me in the name of a damn relationship contract! "
She inhaled and exhaled, then said, "Alright, I will disguise as your girlfriend tonight. After that, I pray we never cross paths ever again. I do not want to have friendship with you afterwards."
She left the room.
Maybe because she wasn't awared, she had no decision on whether their relationship would end or not. Tonight was only the start of their story being together, and Eugene smirked.
