Adela's Perspective
"Adela, wake up. Madam is looking for us. We have a meeting at 9 this morning," Nina informed, jolting me from my slumber.
Nina's just-awoken appearance mirrored mine.
"What time is it?" I asked sleepily, scratching my head.
"It's only 7:18 AM," she replied, stifling a yawn.
She must be sleep-deprived. It was midnight when I arrived here, and she was still wide awake. Sipping coffee and engrossed in a movie. She loves marathoning movies, especially when she has little else to do.
"What's the meeting about today?" I inquired, while hastily searching through my clothes.
"It's about the projects we've been working on. And later, Madam Helena Montero will join the meeting," she answered, and I was genuinely taken aback.
"Why?" I probed, my eyes widening in surprise.
