Adela's Point of View
"Ah, everything's absolutely fine now, I can definitely handle the commute," I gently insisted, watching as Ms. Dorothy gently shook her head in contemplation.
"No, Adela. You shall accompany my grandson, Primo. If you're feeling a tad anxious, fret not; I've asked him to bring his beloved along," she remarked, causing me to blink and swallow nervously.
Beloved. Does she already know Wendy too? Quite fascinating. Hehe. Though I long to revel in Wendy's joy, it's as if there's an invisible barrier keeping me from fully embracing happiness for her, well, for them. Am I being bitter? I apologize. I feel somewhat foolish; it's been two long years, and yet the past lingers, refusing to let go.
Does she also know that I used to be Primo's girlfriend? I highly doubt it.
"Is the arrangement satisfactory, Adela?" Ms. Dorothy inquired.
