The seventh fight was between some nobodies Danny couldn't bother to remember. It was a half-blooded demon named Hans Voltgoat who used major electricity spells to deactivate and reactivate his opponent's heart. His opponent was a tann high-level demon, probably from the Egyptian Demon Clan, named Zepes Indu.
This fight was too one-sided, and the audience looked horrified as a low-level demon decimated his opponent.
Danny, too, watched the fight, but he was unimpressed. This Hans guy's magical capabilities were commendable, and for him to execute a high-level spell continuously and without a fault, he must have worked hard to perfect it, but it wasn't as if Danny couldn't win if they were to fight.
A low-level demon relying on high-level spells to defeat a high-level demon was impossible. Hans must have been using an item to enhance his magical capacity. Danny could beat him in magic control, and he didn't seem physically strong... Danny determined that so long as his analysis wasn't wrong, he could win.
Quickly, the match was over, and the announcer, stupefied beyond belief after seeing two low-level demons effortlessly beat high-level ones, was speechless, but the show must go on. So he took a sharp breath in and then announced the victor.
"The winner of the seventh round is Hans Voltgoat!"
Listening to this announcement, Danny was surprised. Most low-level demons didn't have surnames, which is why he went by Daniel, but he thought that any low-level demon who participated in this tournament had something to their name, like how he was known as the smartest low-level demon.
Contrary to his expectations, this Hans Voltgoat had a surname and didn't have anything else worth enough to note about him. He must have been an acknowledged high-level demon's bastard. Unlike Danny, who was not officially accepted by his father, Satan.

The eighth match was about to begin, and Alaparos entered the ring. In front of him was a member of the Oni Clan. A giant red-skinned demon whose body seemed to be purely made of muscles. Everyone watching knew who would win.
Alaparos was from a high-level clan and very strong, but he was a medium-level demon, and his strength would never match a high-level demon from the Oni Clan, who specialized in physical strength.
"The opponents in this match are Tsuyoi Aka from the Oni Clan and Alaparos of the Baal Clan!"
The announcer called loudly.
"Are you two ready?"
He asked. The two opponents didn't even bother nodding before they launched at each other.
Tsuyoi aimed a punch to Alaparos's head, but the bull-headed demon ducked under the moving fist and aimed his hand in an uppercut movement at his opponent's chin.
Bam!
Alapros's fist hit with a resounding sound of victory, but something felt wrong. He didn't feel any rebound, and his opponent didn't move! And Alaparos was so close in already... He had no way of avoiding the knee, heading straight to his face with strong force.
His entire body was shot back with that strong hit, and his ears rang.
He was not going to win, but he needed to land real damage on this undefeatable enemy so that whoever fought him in the later rounds the next day would win.
He kicked the bulk of muscles of an opponent to the head, but the latter didn't badge and attempted to grab his leg. He quickly retracted it because if his opponent were to catch it, he would be irrefutably defeated.
"Da Aama!"
Alaparos shouted, and a blinding light covered the arena.
This was a spell that temporarily blinded the opponent, but even though most people were affected by the strong light, it didn't affect the user.
"Too scared to face me properly?"
Tsuyoi sneered.
Alaparos didn't answer, to not give away his position, as he quietly approached his opponent from the side and landed a devastating blow to one of his ribs.
This was the first effective attack from the start of the match that Alaparos had.
Unfortunately, the moment his hand touched his opponent's side, the latter knew exactly where he was, and he grabbed him by the head.
Tsuyoi mercilessly slammed Alaparos's face into the earth without a hint of emotion on his face.
Alaparos quickly lost conciseness, but the Oni Clan's member didn't stop.
"Sir, please stop. He is down. You won!"
The announcer tried to stop the merciless beatdown.
Tsuyoi said nothing and merely glared at the announcer before the begging stopped.
Watching this from the audience, three people put their legs on the guardrail at the same time.
And in no time, Tsuyoi had a katana aimed at his neck from one side, a dark-metal knife from the other side, and a fireball at his back.
These were Momotaro, Danny, and Alya.
"Are you planning to kill me in a three-on-one? Is this not against the rules of the competition?"
Tsuyoi asked them. He stopped slamming Alaparos's head but didn't loosen his grip.
"We are here just to ask you to let him go. You won."
Danny said, and Tsuyoi chuckled.
"Why would I? I'm not breaking the rules. You are."
The Oni Clan's member wasn't willing to budge, but then he felt the blade of a katana resting on his neck.
"Would you like to reconsider your answer? Or should I consider this treason?"
Momotaro asked.
"Oh, clan heir. I didn't see you were also here. Why should I let such a disrespectful runt live? He knew his opponent was above his station but still fought me."
Tsuyoi asked.
"Consider this a favor to me."
Momotaro answered.
"A favor to the clan's heir... Fine! You got yourself a deal."
Tsuyoi released Alaparos's body and dropped him to the ground.
Alya grabbed him and looked at Danny to see what he'd choose to do.
"Alya, take him to the nurse's office."
Danny said, and she immediately obliged.
Tsuyoi turned around to look at those who threatened his life only a second prior.
He looked at Momotaro, who had already started walking back to the audience, and at Danny, who also started walking toward the audience, but the moment he felt the Oni Clan member's gaze on him, he glared at him, and Tsuyoi froze in fear.
'What is this?! Why can't I move?! What's with this guy's eyes?'
It was as if he was in the presence of a higher being whom he angered.

Danny went to the nurse's office. He was not surprised to see that his crew, not counting Chaos, was already there.
Chaos needed to pack his things at his home as quickly as possible before getting kicked out, as this was an inevitable future.
Danny and his crew didn't care for the rest of the matches.
There were eight more rounds today that will finish the first stage of the tournament. The three girls who followed Marcuse were supposed to fight in three of these eight matches.
"You did good, Alaparos. Rest well."
Danny congratulated his unconscious comrade.
"Will he be okay?"
Mira asked.
"He will be all new after some rest. Now, everyone, get out!"
The nurse said, and both Mira and Danny left the room.
They waited outside for Alya, who stayed inside a few more minutes before joining them.
"I decided. In the next round, I'll avenge Little Alaparos."
Alya said with determination.
Danny sent a text message to both Mr. Hephaestus and Mr. Hades, requesting that when they set the matches for tomorrow, Alya will be matched against Tsuyoi Aka.
Unlike Alaparos, she was a high-level demon, and more than that, she was ranked eighth among the second-years. From a thorough check Danny did before, Tsuyoi was only ranked twenty-fifth among the second-year students.
Danny was sure Alya could win.
