As the school trip came to an end, Ye Yong returned to his routine in middle school, where he continued to captivate his classmates with his enigmatic charm. His popularity had reached new heights, and the girls were particularly intrigued by his mysterious persona...
In the bustling hallways, whispers of Ye Yong's name floated on the lips of his female peers. They would steal glances, giggle amongst themselves, and occasionally gather the courage to approach him. Ye Yong, ever the composed individual, greeted them with a polite smile, but he remained distant, always keeping a part of himself shielded from their curiosity...
One day, during lunch break, Ye Yong found himself surrounded by a group of random girls who had gathered around him. Their voices filled the air with excitement and nervous anticipation...
"Ye Yong, you were amazing on the school trip," one girl exclaimed, her eyes shining with admiration. "Your singing... it was like magic!"
"Thank you," Ye Yong replied, his voice carrying a touch of modesty. "I'm glad you enjoyed it."
Another girl chimed in, her words tinged with curiosity. "Tell us, Ye Yong, what inspires you to sing?
Ye Yong pondered for a moment, his gaze fixed on the distant horizon. "I suppose music is a way for me to express emotions that are otherwise difficult to convey,"... "It allows me to connect with the depths of my soul and resonate with others." he find it quite fun to act like this...
The girls were enthralled, their eyes gleaming with fascination. They probed further, asking about his favorite songs, musical influences, and hidden talents. Ye Yong, always composed and thoughtful, engaged in the conversation with polite charm,..
Amidst the sea of admirers, Li Na observed from a distance, her heart filled with a mix of emotions. She had been drawn to Ye Yong from the beginning, his enigmatic nature captivating her attention. As she witnessed his interactions with the other girls, a pang of jealousy tugged at her heart. She longed for his attention, but he remained aloof.
Summoning her courage, Li Na approached the group, her voice laced with a playful tone. "So, Ye Yong, is this your harem of admirers now?" she teased, trying to hide the tinge of envy in her voice...
Ye Yong turned towards her, a mischievous smile playing on his lips. "Oh, Li Na, you're just jealous that you're not part of it," he quipped, his words dripping with sarcasm...
Li Na's cheeks flushed with a mix of embarrassment and frustration. She retorted, her voice tinged with a hint of annoyance, "Please, like I would ever want to be a part of your fan club."
Ye Yong chuckled softly, his eyes twinkling with mischief. "Oh, don't worry, Li Na, you're in a league of your own. A league of annoyance," he replied,..
"Hmpf!"
Li Na huffed, her pride wounded but her determination only growing stronger. She would have her revenge to Ye Yong this time through the test...
As the days passed, the whispers of envy and admiration continued to swirl around Ye Yong. He remained the enigmatic figure that fascinated his peers,..
As the school year progressed, so did the friendly rivalry between Li Na and Ye Yong but it was all on her side.... For her, Ye Yong had become a challenge, a goal she was determined to conquer.
Every time the exam results were announced, Li Na would anxiously scan the class list, hoping against hope that she had finally surpassed Ye Yong. And every time, her heart sank as she saw his name right at the top, with the highest marks in the class...
Ye Yong, on the other hand, remained indifferent to the competition. He approached his studies with ease, never appearing to exert much effort, and yet he consistently outperformed everyone. To him, academic success was not a battleground; it was simply a matter of fact...
One day, after yet another exam, Li Na approached Ye Yong with a determined glint in her eyes. "You got lucky again," she said, trying to mask her disappointment with a hint of sarcasm.
Ye Yong glanced at her with a raised eyebrow, his tone nonchalant. "Lucky? Or maybe I'm just naturally gifted," he replied, a hint of a smirk playing on his lips.
Li Na couldn't help but bristle at his remark. "Naturally gifted my foot! You're just lucky," she retorted, her competitive spirit flaring up.
Ye Yong shrugged, feigning innocence. "Well, if you say so. But luck seems to be on my side every time, doesn't it?"
Li Na's frustration was evident, but she refused to back down. "I'll beat you one day, just you wait," she declared, determination burning in her eyes.
Ye Yong chuckled, his amusement evident in his voice. "Sure, Li Na, keep dreaming. Maybe one day you'll get lucky too," he teased, knowing it would irk her.
Li Na scowled, her cheeks flushed with a mix of annoyance and embarrassment. "You're insufferable," she muttered under her breath...
Li Na huffed, refusing to give him the satisfaction of a response. Instead, she turned on her heels and stormed away, her determination to best him burning even brighter.
As the days turned into weeks and the weeks into months, the rivalry between Li Na and Ye Yong continued to escalate. Li Na studied harder, sought extra help from teachers, and even enlisted the help of her classmates, all in a bid to outshine Ye Yong academically. Yet, every time, he remained one step ahead, seemingly untouchable in his academic prowess.
The rest of their classmates watched the rivalry unfold with amusement, often entertained by the sharp-witted banter exchanged between Li Na and Ye Yong...
For Ye Yong, Li Na's determination to beat him was amusing, but he admired her tenacity. For Li Na, Ye Yong's indifference only fueled her desire to win, to finally elicit a reaction from him...
And so, the battle of wits and academic prowess raged on, as Li Na and Ye Yong continued to be each other's rivals in a game where the stakes were their pride and their hearts' unspoken desires...
