Its winding corridors were cloaked in perpetual darkness, where illusions played tricks on the mind and shadows whispered secrets. Only the most skilled and perceptive could navigate its treacherous paths and uncover its hidden treasures.
The second labyrinth, known as the Labyrinth of Elements, was said to be located deep beneath the earth's surface. "Eldric, wake up, it is morning already. You're going to be late for your daily practice."
"ELDRIC. WAKE UP" Aria lifts the cover on Eldric's bed.
"HUH? IM UP IM UP!" Eldric with messy hair wakes up
"Morning Aria." Eldric look at Aria, smilling at her.
Aria looked at Eldric a bit flushed.
"Your breakfast is ready, go eat it first before it's cold." Aria hastily went out the door.
Eldric went out of his room, and enjoy breakfast in the dinner table.
The room boasted a charming blend of rustic and modern architecture. Its exterior showcased a combination of sturdy stone walls and warm wooden accents, blending harmoniously with the natural surroundings.
"This house is pretty nice, I'm glad we bought it" Said Eldric leaving his room, and walking towards the dinner table in the main living area.
Sunlight streamed through large windows, illuminating the entryway and casting playful shadows across the polished wooden floors. The air carried a refreshing scent of pine and wildflowers, inviting a sense of tranquility and peace.
The main living area exuded warmth and comfort, with plush sofas arranged around a cozy fireplace. Soft, earth-toned rugs added a touch of coziness to the polished hardwood floors. Ascending the staircase, they discovered a series of spacious bedrooms, each with its unique charm and style. Eldric's room showcased a collection of meticulously polished swords and shields, paying homage to his warrior spirit. Aria's room, on the other hand, emanated a soothing aura with soft pastel colors and shelves filled with books on healing arts and magical herbs.
Outside, a well-tended garden surrounded the house, bursting with vibrant flowers and lush greenery. A stone path meandered through the garden, leading to a tranquil pond adorned with water lilies. A cozy patio provided the perfect spot for quiet contemplation, offering a view of the breathtaking sunset over the distant mountains.
"Aria.. do you want to explore the world?" Eldric tone change to serious.
"These past five years, all we do is idly living around, doing quest here and there. Some nights, I still dream about the orphanage in the village. And that note book we found about that four labyrinth. There is still so much to uncover."
"Eldric, whatever you do, I'll be there with you. I'll help you when you are lost, but stay true to yourself. If you really want to explore the world, searching for the labyrinth, I will follow you." Aria, replied with a firm yet kind tone.
"Thank you, Aria," Eldric said, his voice filled with gratitude. "I'm grateful to have you by my side."
Eldric and Aria finished their breakfast and prepared for the adventures that awaited them. They gathered their equipment, ensuring they were well-equipped for the trials ahead. Eldric tightened the straps on his trusted sword and adjusted his armor, ready to face any foe that crossed their path. Aria packed her healing potions and herbs, ready to support and protect Eldric during their dangerous encounters.
As they stepped out of their home, the morning sun bathed them in its warm glow. The world lay before them, filled with countless possibilities and untold wonders. Eldric and Aria embarked on their grand expedition, venturing into the vast unknown, driven by their curiosity, courage, and bond.
As always, Eldric and Aria bid farewell with the receptionist at the adventurer's guild.
The receptionist noticed the huge baggage they're using.
"Eldric, Aria, be careful alright, I know you are gonna head out into another dangerous adventure, maybe more than any other adventurers you do, But please come back safely, I wish you a safe journey."
"Thank you miss, I promise we will be back safely." Eldric says with certainty.
The receptionist waving to Eldric and Aria as they went out of the adventurer's guild.
They descent the Floating Island, they're home. And head out to the wilderness.
With the wealth that they accumulated along the years, they are able to afford they're own cart and horse. Every time they went out, they always use they're own cart. The cart was crafted from sturdy wood and reinforced with metal, ensuring its durability on rough terrain. Its spacious interior allowed them to store their supplies, equipment, and any treasures they acquired during their travels.
Despite the wear and tear the cart endured over the years, Eldric and Aria took great care in maintaining it. They made regular stops at blacksmiths and craftsmen, ensuring that any damages were repaired and that the cart remained in top condition. They understood the importance of their transportation in their adventures and wanted to ensure its reliability.
Finally heading out into the wilderness, excitement and slight nervousness filled Eldric and Aria's mind. Their cart and horse carried them through the unknown, as Eldric and Aria left their mark on the world, one labyrinth at a time.
