"That person just seemed to be warning us to run quickly," Alanna remarked after hearing the words of the survivor who was fleeing in the distance.

In this world, competition among survivors was intense. When facing danger, some were eager to shift that danger onto others just to survive. Especially when being chased by a large number of zombies, they might run straight into a crowd, disregarding the fates of others, with the sole objective of ensuring their own survival.

"Interesting," Waldo chuckled and shook his head. His gaze suddenly shifted to the two women. "If we ever encounter a similar situation in the future, I'll definitely run far away and not drag you both down."

Alanna and Helen were slightly taken aback. "What are you talking about? You're so strong; there's no way there could be zombies powerful enough to chase you in this world!"

Although Alanna didn't say much, she was deeply moved. Sweet warmth flowed through her heart.
