Chapter 176 - Gunshots

Waldo and his group rested for a day. During this time, they made detailed plans. The following morning, they woke up early, had breakfast, and prepared to set out.

Checking their weaponry and making sure they had everything they needed, Waldo reminded them not to forget anything.

As they were about to leave, Waldo gave a last-minute reminder, concerned that the two women might forget something due to their exhaustion from the all-night battle the previous night.

Alanna checked her backpack and said in a slightly disgruntled tone, "Don't worry, how could I possibly forget to bring something? You're underestimating me!"

Waldo shrugged. "What could you possibly forget? I'm just being cautious. And I'm not deliberately trying to say your memory is bad."

Alanna responded with a humph. "Sure, sure. You're just a scumbag, always picking on me."

Especially at night, he would ignore her protests and act in a way that made her almost fall off the bed.
