Alan was sitting on the couch and was going through some files that he found while infiltrating Rhodens house. After fifteen minutes, Mark was still in the bathroom. Now Alan was worried. "Is he okay?" He stood up and went towards the door. He leaned in with his ear against the cold wood. " There are no sounds. Did he fall asleep or something?"
Clack! The door swung open and the person who was leaning against it collided with the one inside. As Alan crashed into his chest, Mark lost his footing and stumbled backwards. Thud! Mark fell down with Alan's chest against his chest, hands against his hands, shoulder against his shoulder, face against his face, lips against his lips...wait...lips against lips? That's kissing!!
Alan was laying over Mark with his eyes closed. Mark saw those beautiful eyelashes up so close that his heart that was against Alan's heart, started vibrating. 'So adorable. I want to kiss those lashes. I want to kiss those cheeks too and this pair of lips....what???? I am kissing Alan? No. he is kissing me? Oh no!!! Should I move away? That would be offensive? Right?"
In the meantime, Alan opened his eyes again and saw two eyes infront of him popping out like crazy. " Oh my god!!!" Alan quickly stood up. "I am so sorry."
Mark stood up even faster and quickly turned around. " No. It's okay. I....I gotta go." Mark rushed to the door's direction. Atleast that's what he thought he was doing. However, he crashed into the wall right next to the door.
Alan was startled, " Oh my god!! Are you okay? Are you having concussion?" Alan stepped forward to help him but Mark avoided his hands.
" It's okay. I am fine." He stood up and walked out of the door. He quickly grabbed his jacket and placed it infront of his crotch. " Alan, thank you for the food. I will go now. Take care. Call me if you need me. Or may be don't. Your choice. But I will come running if you did. Okay. Bye bye." He sprinted out in bullet speed. Once, he reached the parking lot and got into the car, he finally took a breath.
" Mark Richards, you are an animal." He shouted while looking down at his erect member." It was just an accident. Don't think too much. Don't..." As soon as he said so, he remembered how soft and plump Alan's lips were. His member twitched as if nodding along with his owner. " What the?.... I gotta go home..." Mark sighed.
He was on his way to home when Ben called him. He picked it up," Yes, brother what's up?"
" You fucking asshole!! You dare to call me brother!!" A loud shout came from the other side. "I came here because you told me you will take care of Rui. However, it's already been three days and you didn't call me once. Yet, you still dare to call me brother. I don't have a brother like you." Ben scolded Mark with everything he has got. He was so far away, worrying about Rui day and night. However, this asshole was right there and still didn't visit her for once. She is a friend after all. How could he not care?
" Brother, don't be angry. I will go to the hospital right now." Mark replied while trying to coax Ben.
" Oh forget it. It's already late." Ben sighed.
" Oh come on brother. I know you miss her and you want to see her. Isn't it why you called me?" Mark smirked.
" It's not like that. I called you because I care for you..."
" Blah blah blah...skip the fake talk. I am driving right now. I will call you the moment I will reach the hospital. Okay? See ya." Alan hung up the call and drove towards the hospital.

On the other side, Alan was astonished by the sudden events that took place. " Did we just kiss? Oh no! Did we?? Fuck! My first kiss is gone. No way. No way our lips touched..." Alan went infront of the mirror. His lips were red and swollen because of the crash. " Oh god! Oh god! Oh dear god! My first kiss..." Alan fell on his knees and started mourning as if someone special to him has passed away.
" My first kiss....you went away without even saying goodbye...I can't believe it...I cherished you so much and yet you left me like this. God what did I do to deserve such punishment. I was kissed without any love. My first kiss..I want it back..." Alan kept mourning. He wiped away his tears. " It's okay. It's fine. My first kiss was an alpha and good friend of mine. Right? Most people don't even get such previlege. Plus, the alpha is handsome and he got muscles..." Alan went into flashback when Mark carried him in his arms. He remember how Mark's biceps flexed behind his back or how his chest tightened against his hand...
" Damn Alan...get your head out of gutter. You are such a pervert." Alan slapped his own mouth, " Ow...it hurts. Wait..he hit the floor and I fell over him. He must have been hurt too. Should I call him?"

The elevator door opened at the Omega ward of the hospital and Mark stepped out. He quickly called his brother. " Hello. Brother I am here. I will video call you in ten minutes. Stay online." He hung up the phone and walked towards Rui's ward. However, he didn't see Mr. Smith around. Soon, a nurse got out of Rui's ward. She walked straight towards Mark.
" Hey. Aren't you Mark? What a surprise." She said.
" You are?" Mark saw the familiar face but found it hard to name this person.
" I am Mrs. Smith. Rui's mother." She replied. " We met after the accident. Don't you remember?"
" I am sorry mam. I was in a panic that day. I am Mark. Rui's classmate." Mark apologized.
" Oh no. Don't apologise. I understand, that day was really too much of a disaster."
" How is Rui?" Mark asked, in order to avoid the topic.
" Rui is still the same. There is no improvement in her condition. I know she is strong but I..I feel scared..." Mrs. Smith teared up.
" Oh don't worry mam. She will be fine. I am sure she will wake up soon."
" I wish that too." Mrs. Smith wiped her tears. " Why are you outside? Don't you want to meet her?"
" Can I ?" Mark asked in doubt. He used to think that alphas can not enter these wards. Mostly, because he always saw Mr. Smith waiting outside.
" Offcourse. Infact, can you keep her company for a while. There was an emergency and they are lacking medical staff. So, they are calling me." Mrs. Smith pleaded.
" Sure mam. Where is Mr. Smith? I did not see him today?" Mark asked.
" He has a meeting but he will be back in an hour." Mrs. Smith replied. " Okay. Mark please make sure to call me if anything happens. I am leaving now."
" Sure."Mark smiled back.
He opened the door and got in. Inside, there was a huge glass wall. Behind that wall, Rui layed on bed. Mark found a seat nearby and video called Ben, " Brother guess where am I? I guess today you are lucky. You get to see her up close. Look..." Mark turned the camera towards sleeping Rui. Ben saw her beloved lying like princess snow-white behind that glass door. His heart felt tight. How he wished to see her smile again. This person infront of his eyes, isn't she the most precious person to him. Suddenly, a tear rolled down his eyes.
" Oh my god, brother, are you crying?" Mark was awestruck.
" No, I just feel too lonely. Watching her like this is making me a little scared." Ben replied.
Mark knew very well, why both Mrs. Smith and Ben are scared. The idea of losing your loved one makes you feel scared. He knows that fear very well. When his mother was ill, he went through this fear everyday and at last, his fear came to life.
" Don't be scared brother. She is way too strong to die like that. I know it because I have been punched by this woman several times in that cafeteria. How shameful that day was..."
" Ha ha ha...I know... isn't she amazing." Ben felt very proud of his choice.
" Not more than Alan." Mark replied.
Mark felt a sudden movement behind him. When he turned around, he saw Rui sitting on the bed and she was awake. " Brother, look Rui woke up. Do you think it is because she heard your voice?" He pointed the camera at Rui. In the screen he saw Rui mumbling something. He looked up and sure enough, Rui was saying something. He tried to get closer to hear what she was trying to say. However, he couldn't. He looked at Rui's lips trying to read the word she was trying to say.
He finally understood but it was too late,
" Get away from me"
With a bang...Rui fell down the bed and strong scent of Rose petal assaulted the air. Mark felt his whole body going numb and in his hands the phone call still kept going on.
