It was a nice strategy though. If Alan had known that someone called him pinkie plus cute and posted it on the school site, he would have been mad, like really really mad. But here is the catch, Alan was a simpleton and social media was not his thing. He didn't even see that post. While mark was grinning about his beautiful plan, Alan was at his home carefree, nibbling on chicken wings.
Next day, the class started. The bell rang and at that moment a guy arrived and sat on the first seat. He was wearing a baseball shirt with black jeans. He was so handsome that it was hard to take eyes off him. His golden locks embracing his sugar white neck and his sharp jaw cutting through the air every now and then. When he was focusing on the lecture, people were focusing on him.
" Hey, it's that guy…you know the pinkie Mark Richards posted about."
"you saw that too? Oh my god! I was so shocked last night when I saw that. The second generation prince of Richard and Co. posting about some random guy. What was that all about?"
" oh you don't know I heard that Mark has challenged him for a duel…"
" Nonsense. He is an omega. How can he duel with the alpha like Mark."
" Yeah. I think Mark likes him. He called him cute, who challenges a person by complimenting them in front of whole school."
" No. As far as I know Alan has stolen Mark's woman."
" Wait.. his name is Alan? I thought his name was pinkie."
Numerous whispers were being passed on in the silence of the class. Some were creating conspiracy theories while other were shipping this couple. There were also certain people who envied Alan for being a free unbounded omega and being able to flirt with a man like Mark.
However, Alan had no idea about it all and neither was he concerned about it. His only concern was Rui. Today, in the morning, Rui looked really mad and when he asked her the reason, she refused to tell. Maybe she is in some kind of trouble and he couldn't help but worry.
As soon as the bell rang, Alan rushed to the computer science department leaving behind a room full of loud gossips and an alpha full of smiles. Mark on the last bench was really excited about today and from Alan's behaviour, it looks like he took the bait. Now, all left to do is wait. He went to the cafeteria, there he saw Ben waiting for him. As he approached Ben, he saw that his face was full of frowns.
" What happened? Why are you making such annoying face?" Mark asked him while sipping on the coffee.
" I think you took it way too far Mark. Rui was glaring at me in the class, the whole time. I think we have made the matter worst."
" Oh let's decide that after we talk to them. Be ready, they will arrive soon." Mark said, full of anticipation. He really wanted to see that angry look on that omega's face. Even though he was an elite omega and his pheromones smelled so elegant and calming, his personality was complete opposite. In addition to that his strength was quite admirable too. Mark had competed in nationals for boxing but he had never seen a single person who could throw punches as fast as that omega. To be honest, it was almost impossible to attack him. Once he started attacking, all Mark could do was defend against those punches. His agility was plausible. On top of that, those were some life liberating punches. If they were aimed at one's vital organ, the person would die with internal bleeding. That omega, he is just so amusing.
Mark was pretty enthusiastic about it all. On the other hand, Alan arrived at computer science department and found Rui was missing. He was worried before, but now he panicked. He was sure something was off, but now it seems everything was wrong from the start. He started looking around in corridors and classrooms but still it was all for nothing. The last place left was the women's toilet but how to enter that forbidden land of wonders? Alan started moving back and forth outside the women's washroom. His mind started to dwell on negative extremes. What if Rui is constipated? What if she had loose motions? No, what if it's cramps? Is it periods? Maybe it is. She looked really moody in the morning. But why is she in the washroom? Are her clothes stained? Should he prepare spare clothes? What to do? Omma!
He was still lost in worry when someone placed a hand on his shoulder. Alan turned around.
" Hey you are pinkie…?"
Before she could complete her sentence, she saw the person in front of her, a handsome tall man with beautiful opal eyes. So shiny. This guy was a stunner!
" What did you call me?" Alan started fuming, " Hey! hey! Are you listening to me?" Alan waved his hand infront of her eyes.
" huh?" She broke out of her daze.
" I asked, what did you say just right now? Did you just call me pinkie?" Alan asked with a cold tone. He was trying hard to control his temper. This one word, Pinkie, Oh… he hates it so much. It reminds him of that asshole. It is last thing he wanted to hear.
The girl noticed the sudden change in tone and the chills in the atmosphere. " No. I didn't… it was written in the post. So I just.."
Before she could finish, Alan interrupted, " What post?"
" Here… this one." She showed her phone to Alan. When Alan saw the post, the temper he was controlling so hard, finally flared.
" That son of a bitch…", he rushed downstairs leaving behind these few words.
