Upon hearing Ava question him about the coin he'd received, Marcus instinctually pulled back and started to regret showing it to them.
Ava chuckled at his slightly belated response.
"Oh please, do you think I'm a woman in need of coin," Ava spoke in a slightly amused tone of voice.
When the young omen heard this and took a closer look at the young lady in front of him, he couldn't help but slap himself mentally after looking at Ava more closely.
The caramel-colored beauty had long since ditched the black robe she had on whilst traveling to meet Marcus and now had on much more eye-catching attire than before.
Her new robe's primary color was of course still black to signify her allegiance to the Styx family, but it wasn't all black as very intricately detailed and designed gold accents were strewn from the center of the outfit down to her ankles.
