As Marcus was thinking this, he heard the rustle of a nearby bush that almost instantly made him turn to the sound in alarm.
Though, he was the only one who'd reacted as such, since Alex and Felicia were both still sitting down lazily as if nothing was happening. By the time Marcus realized whoever or whatever was coming wasn't a threat, judging off the duo's nonchalant responses, he heard the sound of a voice he knew all to well for the short amount of time they'd known each other.
"What a pleasant surprise," the voice spoke in a sarcastic tone from somewhere within the darkness.
When Marcus heard the voice he looked around in confusion seeing as though nothing was in the direction from which the voice came, but it didn't take long for the voice to show itself as a man dressed in all black appeared behind Marcus.
